  1. You'll also have quite a few others from the UK doing it with you! B2B cruises in the Caribbean are popular with UK folks.

    It's easy! You'll not have a problem. :)

Not always "quite a few others....". A couple of years ago, on a b2b on the Emerald in March, we were the only in transit passengers. There were the two of us, plus 3 entertainers (Barty, from Crooners, a comedian, and a lady doing hula hoop demos in the Artium).....talk about an easy turn around for us:D

  2. We needed tender tickets two weeks ago on our Canada/New England cruise. They were in a envelope in our stateroom, and they were collected upon boarding the tender in two of the ports of call. So, they have not been eliminated completely.

What excursion did you take in Princess Cays that you thought required tender tickets?

  3. You have to be out of your cabin by 8am....and you will be assigned a departure time based on flights and airports

YOu can book an excursion for the day, and princess will take you and your bags to the airport

  4. We have done it on the Emerald in FLL many times. You will get instructions sent to you a day or so in advance, and given a new cruise card.

You will be asked to meet at an appointed time, escorted off the ship after all others have left, and you will proceed thru US authorities and do a U-turn back on to the ship.

You just leave all of your luggage in your cabin. It is very easy, and you will have the ship to yourselves for a while. Also, you are not required to do the Muster Drill again.

  5. It's my understanding that the Hawaiian cruises have items on the menu that are not on the regular ship wide menus.

The Princess website list some of these added items under their Aloha Spirit Program section.

Yes, and 15 day menus are not the same as 10 day or 7 day or 5 days cruises. To say that they are all the same is not quite accurate.

  6. It is possible to change tables if you are unhappy with your table mates. :D

Or table mates can change tables.....on the old Royal, we had a couple dine at our table for 8 for the first few nights, but they decided to find another table.

As it turns out, they have been in the news a lot lately. He is the recently famous (infamous) Martin MacNeil and travelling with him was the "nanny" Gypsy (we knew her as Gillian).

Even then, things seemed a little odd:D

  7. We have been on two Princess cruises where crew members have jumped...once on the Coral while entering Cartagena and once on the Emerald in the Caribbean on a sea day.

The entire ship knew in Cartagena because of the searching going on, but on the Emerald, it was less noticeable because the guy apparently jumped in the middle of the night and was not known to be missing until the next morning.
