P&O Cruisers - What are things like where YOU are?

Morning all, Another dull and dismal day, but not really cold at 14c. I have had a quick look at the new cruise itineraries, but nothing jumps out at me. Before the recent releases I had been looking at a couple for September next year. I was asked by a friend if I was interested in seeing Six at the theatre with them next year and just said yes without asking when. Turns out it's the same time as the cruises I was looking at. So back to the drawing board! Going over to Mum's later, but nothing else planned. Hope you all have a good day. -

Is anyone else having problems with this site? Or is just me? -

My son catches a train before 8 and said delays were expected til at least 9am. A train did pass the house as I returned home, so some are running although they are able to turnaround at St Erth. -

Morning all, Another dull, damp and drizzly day, but it's supposed to be a sunny day. I've also been Mum's taxi again this morning, to Truro and back taking my son to work, as there were no trains due to signal failure between St Erth and Penzance. Now back home with a cup of coffee before getting on with my chores. My secondary school's field could be seen on the opposite side of the main road from our road, but it took 10 minutes to walk round to the main entrance. -

This reminds me of a text I sent my daughter when I was baby sitting my poorly granddaughter. The text she received was "I've just given her a some scalpel" instead of Calpol! -

Good Afternoon, A dull and dreary day, but dry here and currently 13c. I didn't have anything planned for today except a roast for dinner, but my son sent me a text at just after 8am this morning saying his train hadn't turned up and could I give him a lift into Truro for work. Before he had returned to the house the train went past🙄 obviously by then he had left the station. So a trip to Truro and back this morning and stopped at Tesco on my way home to get the shopping tha I didn't go and do yesterday. Hope everyone is having a good day. -
Not At All Live From Our (Probably) Penultimate P&O Cruise

Interesting review, thank you. When we used the port transfer in Marseille were also dropped off near the catherdral within the port parimeter, but I thought that was because on that day there was a marathon in the town. We had a long waits for transfers, although there were more than two assistance buses in use. -
On our next cruise if for 16 nights, but we will be travelling up to Southampton by train and staying with friends for three days beforehand, so this time will have two standard cases and two smaller cases plus hand luggage.
-
Thank you, that is reassuring to read. We are on Arcadia at the end of November.
-
Our train journey to Southampton is about 6 hours and often involves a couple of changes, and we have had no problems travelling with a standard suitcases and hand luggage/overnight bags.

Morning everyone. Looks like a we're in for a day of mixed weather. Looking out of the front of the house, there is blue sky and sunshine and at the back the sky is as black as the ace of spades. If it gets any darker I'll need to turn our lights on! I should take a trip out to Tesco's but not feeling up to driving as my head is giving some pain this morning, so I'm just going to have an easy day. Hope everyone has a good weekend. -

Bright sunny day and still in double figures. Although I went to bed about midnight last night, I didn't think to look out to see the Northern lights! -

Sorry to read this. Although I no longer have a dog, I know the ache and big hole they leave in our hearts. Take care. -

Good Morning, Still mildish down here, 12c. Looks like a day of showers, but forecast says it's going to be dry! Daughter has borrowed my car as her van has gone in for it's MOT. Hope everyone has a good day. -

I've had three different brands too, 3 Pfizer, 2 Moderna and 2 Astra Zenica, and didn't suffer any after effects from any of them. -

Good morning everyone, I didn't post on this thread right at the beginning, but although I joined in 2014 and, like a lot of others, tended to be a lurker! Since joining in more I have found lots of help, friendship and support along with humour. Thank you all. A wet rainy day here too, although it's still mild at 16c. No plans for today except the normal household chores. -
