THANK YOU for posting! I'm taking this cruise 2/16 and I especially appreciate the menus and patters. -
Is it time to introduce a new loyalty tier?

We got an upgrade offer from an interior to a balcony on our first cruise. I can kind of understand why they do it. It gives people who are new to the line positive associations right from the get go. That was our first cruise ever and with one exception we have stuck to Princess ever since, even though we are just "low class" platinum cruisers. -

Holy moly... lower class people? -
I find that the entrees at the MDR range, in my opinion, from okay to quite good. I have never had anything terrible that I can recall. My only wish is that they would change the menu a bit more frequently. The past few years the menus across ships has been almost identical.

Hi everyone, I am curious how far in advance people started seeing activities pop up on their app before the cruise? One person told me 60 days for them but I am within 60 days and don't have anything yet so it must vary. I am wondering what the general range is. Thanks!

Hello everyone! Scary announcement... the Captain just came over the stateroom intercom and said someone needs a "life saving blood transfusion." Thankfully a couple of minutes later he said they got so many volunteers that they don't require any more for now. I hope the poor person is okay. Last night we were at the Crown Grill. The food and service was impeccable. They know how to do a real medium-rare. Unlike at the steakhouse on RCL where I got a hockey puck. Today was a lazy day! I hung out by the sanctuary pool, went to the art auction, played music trivia, bought

Sorry that I have been slacking on the live blog! The ship is in Cozumel today but we stayed on. We always go to Cozumel and I like it but I wanted a day with a quiet ship. Yesterday was the second formal night. I ordered the lobster with risotto but I was not very happy with it. I like simple broiled lobster with drawn butter and this was in a very thick cream sauce. But we had fun at our table! Not to be overly negative but I was also not a fan of Belize. We did the trolley tour and I am glad we got to see the city but our tour guide was very down on Beli

Good evening all, from the still afloat, air-conditioned and well-lit Caribbean Princess! We had a nice day at Mahogany Bay today but I learned something very important: clamshells aren't worth it. First of all, my feet always end up sticking out in full sun and I have to wrap them in a towel or article of clothing. They also act as a sort of heat trap with no cross-ventilation whatsoever. Anyway, a good idea in theory but I will stick with umbrellas or spring for a cabana/bungalow. At least with umbrellas you sometimes get a breeze. We had lunch at Slice again which wa

Good morning from somewhere near Roatan, Honduras! I'm sipping an Americano from Coffee and Cones and watching the sea roll by from my balcony. Last night was a lazy day after returning from Grand Cayman. We went to Slice for lunch and I tried the stromboli. A+! It was so good I forgot to take a picture of it! We went to the Captain's Circle Welcome Party... meh, it was okay. The drinks were plentiful but the canapes were very lackluster and the presentation was basically a sales pitch. The Captain himself couldn't make it. Oh well, free champagne! The shi
