  1. You are right on. We had the fondue one night, decent but not great for $56 for two! The other night was not good and also expensive. We won't be back, this place is a shadow of it's former self and is sad. We stayed at the Marker and it was close and we liked it before but we won't be back. LOL, and we never made it to Hogfish grille. The weather was horrible, rained the entire trip. Oh well...........
  2. Thanks for all the help. It was Hogfish I was thinking of............it hit me at 3:00 at night in bed as usual. One thing, esp for you locals, our favorite place, Michaels. We went there twice and not too impressed. Pricey, $36 for hogfish that was just okay, don't think we'll be back there soon. Too bad
  3. Ok, Mike "bhopal", PJK, Keywester and all you other knowledgeable Key West people, what is the name of the good seafood restaurant just off Key West on Stock Island?? For the life of me can't remember it and we'll be in town next week. Thanks in advance for any help.
  4. You will love the Silhouette, she is a beautiful ship. One note re: aft cabins on the "S" class ships. There are only two banks of Elevators on these ships; up front and mid ship. It is a rather long walk from Aft Cabins to the mid ship elevators. If you have mobility issues or if you forget something in the cabin it is a bit of an issue. Even with the long walk we loved our Aft Cabin on the Silhouette back in 2011.
  5. We never rent a car, even for a 4-5 day stay. A fun thing do do is rent a Pedi Cab. LOL, we usually do that at night for a ride back to the hotel after visiting a few clubs.:D
  6. LOL Lois, you are spot on. I was thinking the same thing reading all this. If this is the worst thing in their lives they are very very lucky!:D
  7. Agree, it is dirty and I'd never eat there. However, what we like about it is the proximity to the Marina. If you go in the afternoon, you can see the fishing charters come in and watch them clean the catches for the customers. The Tarpon flock for the guts and it is quite a show. Then I go back and have a Stoli..............:D
  8. Not for nuthin..........I think this is the best and most enjoyable review I've ever read on CC!:D also, I thought the Azores were more tropical like. LOL, not sure why if you think of it and where it is.

  12. LOL, EW and Rich, I"m really enjoying this one!!!:D
  13. You are right, it's not two miles, much shorter walk than that. Definitely walkable unless you have walking "issues" etc.
