  1. Thanks. That’s exactly why I was looking for a space that had a washer and dryer - especially an Airbnb - then we could go touring while the wash is running and just worry about folding when we got back.
  2. Here’s a question. Any recommended hotel or AirBnB with an included clothes washer and dryer? After a 7 day cruise might be nice to do some laundry before the second half of our vacation.
  3. Great thread! I have questions. How did the transfer to train in Madrid go? Did you end up spending a night in Madrid first before heading to Barcelona? Any issues with luggage on the train? Any recommended hotel in Madrid? Regarding Euros: When planning for a cruise in the US I bring a lot of cash for tips and gratuities. Tips for porters at the port, tips for shuttle drivers, tips for tour guides etc. How much cash in Euros is enough to have on hand? Also, is it still appropriate to tip those on board using dollars? (Those who aren’t tipped automatically such as Suites lounge servers, concierge, etc.) I hadn’t considered Madrid for the trip we are planning, but there are nonstops from our home airport of DFW, so I’m definitely intrigued!
  4. Could you explain how eMed works with NAVICA as opposed to scanning the box? I’m a little confused. Thank you!
  5. I had the same question. Also curious how you tip at specialty restaurants or at Coastal Kitchen (the restaurant for suite guests). we’ve tipped the concierge in the past. Never considered additional gratuity for the room steward but that’s an interesting idea. How about room service? Thanks very much!
  6. Thanks for posting this question. I had many of the same questions. Is there a separate check in area for suite guests? Once the Uber (or whomever) drops you off, how do you know which line to get into? Anecdotally it sounds pretty crazy at the port and just want to make sure we don’t add to the craziness.
