😳All sushi tastes the same to me.🤣 I can get a whole lotta sushi on land for far cheaper. Now the non-sushi options at Raw on 5 may be another story.

We have never had any issues posting pics to social media via Celebrity's premium WiFi. However, your mileage may vary in Iceland with far fewer Starlink satellites in that part of the world. We never bother streaming from Prime or Netflix on a cruise, so I can’t help you there. I can tell you are super-excited for this one!

I wonder if the switcheroo madness is a Beyond or Edge-class thing. On Beyond our Behind the Scenes tour was moved from the second sea day to the first sea day. Fortunately we read all of the paperwork in the stateroom on embarkation day. Otherwise we could have missed our ship excursion. I forget the exact wording of the reasoning given for the rescheduling. The word “operational” seems to come to mind.🙄 Enjoy your cruise!

Hey Linda! There is wonderful Live on the Silversea boards. It a great read about Silver Wind 14-night Iceland round-trip from Dublin. It really got me more excited for the trip, but it’s definitely worlds away from our balmy Florida days.😉

Sushi on 5 has more than just sushi. We had Hotel Borg on the short list, but ended up choosing Sand Hotel instead. We will be visiting Iceland next month on another cruise line. Looking forward to following along with your live blog.

Piggie-backing on OP’s original question here. In order to take advantage of Starlink on board, will I be required to upgrade from my basic WiFi package that was included with my booking offer?

OP may have been inquiring about the upcoming Quest sailing to The Faroe Islands and Iceland. I am a bit concerned myself about internet reliability on board the same sailing.

I had a glance at your itinerary of “brand new locations” so now I am experiencing even more anticipation of your updates.

I considered that one especially now that it is advertised at last chance savings of 40%. I like where it takes place at Playa Mia too. We did an excursion that culminated there with a cooking class. Of course the salsa class winds down with margaritas at the end which at least would be closer to noon since the excursion starts at 8:30. I am not always so wild about these early morning excursions.

We were last on Silhouette back in April 2024 on what happened to be a partial charter for Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans and three separate on board weddings along with their large parties. Even after all of that commotion we would still have to rank Silly one of our favorite Celebrity vessels. We imbibed in an Unlimited Speciality Dining Package which we enjoyed. Murano is still tops for the restaurants, but The Porch offers a nice Al fresco experience whether for dinner or lunch when open. We enjoyed the Solarium as our go-to refuge from the masses, but the heated loungers in the spa were a nice respite also. There is also an uncrowded relaxation room all of the way forward on one of the spa decks. There is plenty of outdoor seating in the areas around and adjacent to the Sunset Bar. Enjoy Iceland!! We are going next month for the first time.
