  1. If the upgrade cost is minimal, I'd go YC but it depends what you value. I am doing my first inside since 2000, so I really can't chime in the room, the size (and washroom -- I hear that's teeny tiny as well) but when I asked my DW about balcony in the non-YC or YCI -- she said YCI. If you are married -- why not ask the wife. You will enjoy the tranquility of the entire YC (but you will miss the balcony, not for long...)
  2. Thanks for the review -- can I ask how you liked your inside cabin? I'm just figuring out if my DW will kill me for booking that vs our normal balcony (the only difference is I booked a second inside for the kids, so we are not all cramped together into one room, balcony or not).
  3. Thanks... Do you have experience renting a car after the ship docks? Should I wait for the shuttle or just uber there to make sure I can get a rental car to get back to the airport...
  4. Do the rental car companies have (free) shuttles to the port? and back to the rental companies...
  5. There has to be spell check on these programs...but lol...now it's a game, like finding those rubber ducks on the ships...
  6. I think they opted to renew contracts earlier (it was supposed to be next year) and they are going to do it in Sept 2023. After that, it will be the flight crew (flight attendants and check-in) and not sure if they baggage handlers are in a different union but I am assuming things will flow to that next. Maybe since they are going to negotiate after school starts, they are not seeking a lot, unlike WJ which timed it before a major long weekend (I'm being sarcastic).
  7. my cruise is 2 months out and I received an email to upgrade but min bid is high -- so do the bids get lower closer to sail date if no one is bidding?
  8. Great review -- though I love the YC, my experience with the butlers are not the same as yours...hardly saw mine.
  9. I wonder if the westjet strike is driving up the prices for other flights. My AC flight to orlando is almost double of what it was a month a go.
  10. look at the bright side -- saved yourself a lot of money....
  11. Minibar snacks "refills" not included
  12. Weird thing for me in Europe is that they pick up passengers at each port but I guess then the check-in and departures weren't too busy.
  13. If Westjet wins, AC is will be next....
  14. Well...unless you want to be split up...then go for it!!!
  15. I would remove the bids because I think the odds of winning both bids is quite low unless you bid the max on both. Also, if one wins, and the other doesn't, I don't think you can then cancel the bid, so if you are happy with the arrangement now, just enjoy.
  16. Don't poke the bear... Side note -- I think I read on the forums or was it FB, someone tried to down grade YC to regular and then cancel because those deposits are reundable. However, not too sure if they were successful or not but the logic seems right (unless your YC depost is flagged as one).
  17. Rent (I think disney has a rental car in the park or close by), uber or shutte... as other responders have mentioned, depends on how many, how much luggage, etc... all from the resort -- no need to shuttle to the airport
  18. True, on MSC Seaside -- looks like it is Terminal 10
  19. good tip regarding walking to the holiday inn for the disembarkation pick-up -- was that a long walk?
  20. thanks - so, YC it's free???
