  1. Wow ok, it will be much easier to pack then :) thanks!
  2. I briefly looked at the room layouts in a video. It will be a change for sure going from bathrooms that have everything in one closed room like normal bathrooms :)
  3. So I am a Norwegian Newbie and will be booking my first today for the Epic. I have only sailed Royal so I have a million questions running through my head. Right now the first two that stick out are: - can I add prepaid gratuities like on royal so I dont have to worry about them while on the cruise? - are there formal nights? And if you can think of any useful, need to know info for a newbie please share! Thanks!
  4. We just got off adventure on friday and had 5:30 seating. We were at a table of 8. We were done at various times throughout the week ranging from 6:45 to about 7:10. Sent from my SM-G960U using Forums mobile app

  9. We may be sailing on Oasis in February 2020. It will be a family cruise. Are there typically less kiddos through the winter months, just curious? This will be our first on this class ship. Sent from my SM-G960U using Forums mobile app
  10. She is a smaller ship without all the fancy bells and whistles, but we enjoyed a very nice relaxing 10 days on her in 2014!
  11. Thats what I was going to say too. We were on Grandeur 2 years ago and had early seating for dinner. We never, never had an issue finding seats for the late show. Sometimes we got there 30 min before but usually it was around 20 min before and we even found seating fairly close for group of 8-13 people!
  12. Couldn't you just scoot your pillow/head down a bit to do that Sent from my SM-G960U using Forums mobile app
  13. You can always try to call back and see if any mid ships became available. Bonine, not sure if I spelled that correctly, is supposed to be non drowsy. You should actually start taking motion sickness meds, I have heard, starting the night before you travel. My aunt used motion ease essential oil for her sea sickness and said it worked wonders and no side effects (it can be purchased over the counter? You just run a little behind each ear. 14. Well we got there super early and boarding was delayed because customs or whatever had to go on the ship for some sort of inspection....or someone went on board to do something that delayed boarding...so yes. We were able to see them for about 2.5 hours working through the issue. We boarded and they were still working on it, not sure how much longer after that though.
  15. If you are sailing without the children's parents you will also need a notarized letter from both parents giving you permission to take them out of the country and permission for any medical decisions that may arise for the children. On our last cruise we were witness to this as a set of grandparents had 2 grandchildren with them. They were stuck in the boarding/check in area for hours trying to get a notarized letter faxed to them in time before they had to be on the ship.
  16. I hope you didn't take any little critters along with you on the cruise or back home. I seriously wouldn't have paid that much for that filthy place and wouldn't have stayed there that night....
  17. You would really be mad then to hear my husband call me his old lady, and we are only 34 :) to each their own!
  18. What an awesome video! My kiddos enjiyed dancing to the music! Sent from my SM-G930V using Forums mobile app
  19. Yep I am totally okay with that, its not like I am packed or anything :D
  20. yeah we are at day 49 for our sailing and the luggage tags aren't available yet. Anxiously waiting though!!
  21. You have the deluxe beverage package and still want to try and bring on as many bottles of wine as possible? And even if your friend is your TA they should have told you this would happen. Maybe your TA should add the $50 onboard credit you are demanding since it was their mistake for not informing you of this.
  22. We do have the travel insurance :) Sent from my SM-G930V using Forums mobile app
  23. Thays a good idea...i haven't heard of ours having those but i can check Sent from my SM-G930V using Forums mobile app
  24. I had to chuckle at them telling you what your parents didn't. We don't have apple products so we could use messenger app I suppose. Our first full day is at sea along the east coast and then the next day is in Florida so we could maybe use texting the first sea day and then definitely call when in Florida. Then the next 2 days are in the Bahamas, then a full sea day back....
  25. Yep, good info...i think I will be set to make sure everyone is prepared :) Sent from my SM-G930V using Forums mobile app
