  1. In the case of the Jan '22 cruise - bad timing! As Regent staggers the restart of their ships, the Voyager is scheduled to make its first voyage in Feb - so - everything prior to chat was cancelled. Looking for a replacement now
  2. Jan 22 Buenos Aires - Santiago was cancelled
  3. Perhaps not, but they can keep you from boarding their ships
  4. Just saw a press release stating that the CDC will now be requiring a negative covid test result within 3 days of returning to U.S. from international destinations. This will definitely put a crimp in many a vacation. Currently scheduled in Reykjavik-Copenhagen in June '21 (very doubtful it will go) - not to mention the on-going "ban" on U.S. citizens in many countries. Let's hope the on-going vaccination effort gets us pass this.
  5. Tremendous idea, and since I have been on just 1 Regent cruise so far - I can't contribute as much as many of you can, but it certainly is time to get away from all of the negativity for a while. As mentioned, just 1 Regent cruise so far - Vancouver to Miami aboard the Mariner in 2018 - but we have 2 more booked this year. Hoping we can make at least one of them. The Alaska cruise was spectacular for so many reasons. Had been on the Paul Gauguin in French Polynesia and Regent was every bit as memorable. The excursions, the food, the crew, the entire ambiance. Met some fantastic
  6. Again - appreciate response. Always good to hear of other's experiences
  7. Appreciate the responses. Know we have thought way too hard on this one. At this point - just moving forward with the trip and plan on consulting and then more than likely getting the recommended shots. As GOARMY says, the trip is too much of an opportunity to miss. Thanks again for taking the time to help out.
  8. I know the subject has been discussed many times and some don't want to hear it again, But that is because they have "been there done that". Re the yellow fever shot - as Flossie states - a lot of "different" info floating around. We would be interested in knowing age of those that did receive the shot we are mid-70's - in good health) and were there any side effects.
  9. Appreciate your feedback. We are in the "older" category - mid-70's, but - our Dr. suggested we get the shot. As you already know, a lot of different opinions out there. We are both in good health and normally don't have an adverse reaction to shots, so......
  10. Would be interested in hearing your thoughts/experiences with the YF shots. This is something we have been researching
  11. Appreciate responses. Suspect you are correct in that the tour operator would be the one providing - if at all. Looking forward to the trip
  12. Read a couple of places that "boots" are provided for excursions in the river basin area. Anyone with experience in this area?
  13. We sailed Paul Gauguin several years ago for our anniversary. 14 day cruise through French Polynesia- loved it. Highly recommended
  14. Has anyone flown from east coast of US to Bali? Any info would be appreciated
