  1. Not a surprise, always struggled to get in there on Azura and was well worth it both times, didn't enjoy Sindhu or Epicurean half as much.
  2. Hey Guys, Going to the Canaries on Ventura and will have 2 year old twins with us so there probably wont be many trips suitable for us so something ideal would be doing ports on our own and then maybe some time on a beach so would anyone know if there's any beaches near the below ports. I know its crazy to ask if there are beaches in the Canaries but i know some ports can be out the way. Thanks in advance La Palma Tenerife (Santa Cruz) Lanzarote Madeira Lisbon I know the last 2 aren't the Canaries but i thought id sneak them in Thanks P.S I'm not going until Sept 2020 so if you read this in a year its still relevant Dean
  3. We actually got a whole day added to our cruise once, luckily the day was a bank holiday too so no need to arrange more holiday :) unfortunate for the cruise after us that lost a day but we did miss La Harve as the French were striking as usual but that meant I got nearly 500 quid back for my Paris excursions which I was only doing for someone's birthday so I was quite pleased hahaha
  4. Thanks guys, that’s a shame, not sure when I’ll be back again after this one 😩
  5. Hey Guys Going from Pacific to Atlantic on my next cruise, do i get the benefits on the cruise that takes me over the 50 nights or the one after? and will i get the 7.5% for my whole cruise, the days I'm over 50 or from my next one? Will and Excursions be at the old rate if i book before the cruise? Will the discount come off a drinks package? I know its only an extra 2.5% but every little helps 🙂 Thanks Dean
  6. aaaahh I've missed the P&O boards and I'm glad to be back...just booked onto the Ventura for next year and i cant wait, was my first ship and my first time back on her 😍 As long as they still do the Steak on the 'favorites' menu and a few Vegan options for my Dad and Mum (V) and the hot stone in the Beach house for me we'll all be happy 🙂
  7. We used Greys Island Excursions on St Kitts, great day and great driver, it rained but was still one of our best trips. In Antigua we done the P&O beach and snorkel trip, snorkelling weren’t all that but the boat trip and beach were amazing. I looked at your cruise today, what a fantastic price, i don’t think they’d let my 1 year old twins travel on that one or if definitely be talking the wife round. My first cruise was a transatlantic on Ventura...have a great time
  8. Hey Guys If me and the wife get a drink package do we need to get one for our 2 year old twins as they are in the same cabin? They will only be drinking Water/Milk/Juice so i hope not. Thanks
  9. Thank you 6.25 for a 2 year old seems a bit steep especially when you have 2 I wont be wearing jeans on formal nights, just smart casual Travel agents in the UK aren't offering anything yet, the deal is Winter 19/20 so i guess I'll wait a few months and hope it moves onto summer 2020.
  10. Hey guys, Wanted to do something special for my 40th and as I love the sea, snorkelling in the Caribbean was my first choice. the Seaside and one of the small MSC ships are the only ships around the Westen side in September so I have little choice but to look at MSC which I normally wouldn’t but as the islands are the most important I’m happy to give them a try. After reading some reviews I have a few questions. 1) When’s the best time to book? It’s for September 2020 so I’m only getting a £100 early booking discount but reading the reviews others are getting all sorts of good deals. Drink packages, upgrades, suites the same price as balconies...I want some of that 🙂 2) Has anyone travelled on the Seaside with small children, I’ll have 2 and a half year old twins at the time, I wouldn’t think about the long flight normally but once they go to school properly we might not get this chance again. Is a balcony cabin suitable for a family of 4 and will their double buggy get around the ship? Probably only use it when we’re getting off the ship. 3) Is the smoking as bad as I read it is? I have nothing against smokers do what you’re doing but is there enough places to get away from it? 4) What’s the dress code like on MSC? Before kids I loved dressing up but I think it’ll be too much now...more than twice in the 14 nights. The non formal nights are smart jeans and a polo top okay? 5) Is there a daily service charge with MSC it is it just they add the 15% to everything? I dare say they’ll be more but that’s enough for now 🙂 Thanks Dean
  11. Ahh thanks Guys, we’ll be 2 year old twins so that’ll be a waste. Shame really wanted to go there
  12. Hi Guys looking to try MSC for the first time for my 40th next year...the itinerary I’m looking at shows 2 days in Puerto Rico arrriving at 17:00 then leaving at 01:00 the next day. I’m hoping that’s technically 01:00 on the 3rd day not as in 8 hours later. Anyone had silimar that can advise? thanks
  13. Thanks, we're just looking to get back onboard and test the twins so we don't want to spend a fortune this time. I just phoned and the one i wanted was sold out as they only allow 20 under 2's but the one after which is more but slightly better ports still had 12 spaces available....now to try and talk the wife into a non sunny cruise hmmmm 🌦️
  14. We had to cancel a cruise for my wife's 30th because she fell pregnant with the twins and that took her over the 24 week limit. Lucky it was just a short one with a small deposit but i understand.
