  1. Or once onboard you can take the gift card to passenger services and they will apply it to your account.
  2. The information about having the credits should have been given to you when your cruise was cancelled back in 2020 when Princess paused operations. At that time people were offered refunds or Future Cruise Credit with bonus non-refundable Future Cruise Credits. Princess has not been willing to extend the Bonus FCC- they expire Dec 31, 2022 To be sure there aren’t any more surprises I would check to see what you have on the books in both refundable and non- refundable bonus goodwill FCC as it is highly likely that you have both refundable and non-refundable if they are the result of the 2020 pause. The refundable FCC is what you had paid on your cancelled cruise and they have a different expiration date. You can check the type of credits you have by logging on to Princess and in the drop down menu you will see an option for future cruise credits, or your TA or Princess can check this for you. For reference regarding expiration dates here is information Princess gave to Travel Advisors a couple of months ago regarding FCC: Future Cruise Credit expiration dates extended We have extended the expiration date of a number of FCCs that were due to expire at the end of 2022 as follows: · Cash-backed, non-refundable FCCs: FCCs issued during Cruise with Confidence will have their expiration date extended to Sep 30, 2023 · Cash-backed, refundable FCCs: Cash-backed refundable FCCs are extended to Dec 31, 2024. Note that we are happy to accommodate requests from any guests who want a refund on their cash-backed refundable FCC. · Bonus non-refundable FCCs issued during the pause in operations are not being extended and will expire Dec 31, 2022
  3. Your TA can get you the casino discount (if you qualify) and they can contact the Casino on your behalf to book your free casino cruise if you have been sent an offer by the casino. It’s easiest for the TA if you give them the promotion code that’s on the email or mailer. Also, do not worry about it being abusive to the TA, the casino pays the TA a very small transaction fee for handling the booking.
  4. Thank you for taking the time to report. Very sorry to hear about your airline mess, that added stress certainly takes some of the fun out of your trip.
  5. You can go into cruise Personalizer and scroll to about the middle of the landing page and you will find a bid to upgrade box where you can check to see if you can bid. This link may also work https://upg.plusgrade.com/marketing/partner/RNo2BO4VPCL
  6. You can bring a 12-pack of canned soda. Sorry you got bad info from the rep!
  7. Bid was accepted on 20 day voyage that sails in November. Original cabin was a BD Balcony. Minimum bid for mini suite was $495 pp. I bid the minimum $495 yesterday and was assigned an MB mini today.
  8. 11:00 am is a good approximation. If you plan to check out if your hotel at noon you shouldn’t have any issue going straight to the ship at that time.
  9. The second part of your question asked about hotels in FLL. We like to stay at Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina. It’s very close to where the ship docks and there is a convenience store within walking distance for picking up any last minute items.
  10. No. The bidding process and associated upgrades are separate from the Casino rate topic.
  11. Probably yes if they are still taking bids. Go into Cruise Personalizer and click on bid to upgrade to see if they still have the option open for you ( or go back to original email). Please let us all know how it goes since we are all still learning how this system works.
  12. We have sailed over Halloween in 2021 and there were a number of passengers wearing costumes, carved pumpkins in the Piazza and various decorations. Also a lot of face masks had Halloween type themes.
  13. The issue could be that this sale states that it is for new bookings only, so in order to get the promo your TA likely needs to cancel and rebook you. They can create a new booking for you to verify if that would save you money ( not all sales do) and tell you what the new price would be. If you like the new price you can cancel the original booking and keep the new one.
  14. You won’t be able to see the menus in the app until you are on the ship, and even then sometimes they won’t show up. I have found the menus work better on your stateroom TV. Pre-cruise you can use the app to make dining reservations but you won’t be able to see main dining room menus.
  15. The Eclipse cruise is still available, go to princess, then select plan a cruise and select the filters : Discovery Princess, 10 day, Mexico, April 2024. only inside cabins and Deluxe Balcony are currently available to book.
  16. You cannot book the Princess Plus fare for just one person but you can purchase a drink package for just one person in the cabin.
  17. Yes- you will all use the same log in information of the person who purchased the device.
  18. The Casino makes payment about 14 days prior to sailing. To make sure the booking doesn’t cancel for non-payment they add a code to protect the booking. It sounds like the Casino protection (added by casino) wasn’t in place - so the booking cancelled. The code can inadvertently be disabled if you make EZair reservations and don’t notify the casino so they can make sure the booking is still protected. It can also happen if there was an error when the booking was created or if there is a computer glitch. Call the Casino desk and let them know the booking cancelled. They will be able reactivate/restore the booking for you.
  19. They will either be on the wall or in the drawer of the vanity depending on the ship.
  20. It won’t be a problem, show up at the port with your Covid Vaccination card or proof of negative self test, Credit card and passport ( I would also bring travel summary) and proceed to the Blue Lane. Princess has reps there to enter your information and print your medallion.
  21. Yes, you will be given a list of cabin categories you are eligible to bid on. As for notification I have no first hand knowledge but there have been posts on this thread indicating that people who bid on multiple cabin types received an email for each of the declined offers and a separate email on the accepted offer.
  22. There will be no problem checking in/ boarding separately.
