On our recent Joy cruise the most of the time the bar outside the Sugarcane was only serving the Eco-cocktail of the day and beer. That was annoying. For a couple days it was some cocktail made out of used (leftover) pineapple so that didn't appeal to me. I feel this will be a short lived attempt at trying to be eco-popular. p.s. NCL don't take up good outdoor bar space with gross drinks

Was on the Joy Jan 21-Feb 5 and we only received two small cartons of water in our room.

iPhone iMessaging worked great for us on the Joy.

Getting off the Joy on Sunday, Feb 5th. Flights back to Oregon aren't too good so it looks like we will be cooling our heals in LA until late afternoon at the earliest. I'd never get the wife out early enough to do the Rodeo Dr sightseeing excursion and frankly I don't want to rush to get off the ship. The big issue is our luggage since there doesn't seem to be any place to store it and I sure to don't want to haul it around with us. Renting a car seems like a pain and the luggage storage services seem sketchy at best. Anyone have any great ideas other than killing half the day in an airport? Thanks!

We communicate with family via email and then use port stops to catch up on calls and texts. When in Mexico, Verizon operates as normal with no calling packages needed.

Epic is an awesome ship! I'd say the only real drawback is the lack of elevators. It's a magical ship and we've been on her twice and wouldn't hesitate to get on her again.
