  1. Absolutely stunning picture. Very minor alignment correction and this would be worthy of a National Geographic cover. You have a great eye for capturing the spirit of the location. dp
  2. In all fairness, I assume my time zone is ahead of yours 😉. So if this was golf, and we applied our handicaps, you would have "won" 😉 Cheers Plus... I can't spell right!!! Fourth, Fourth, Fourth, Fourth...😐 dp
  3. The fastest way I know to do pulled pork from scratch is with an Instant Pot. I've done that as well and is also good. Takes just over an hour from opening the package of pork, to spreading it on the bun. https://www.ricardocuisine.com/en/recipes/8324-pressure-cooker-barbecue-pulled-pork dp
  4. I get that. I also enjoy long slow grilling. Charcoal Snake for a 10-12hr cook Thor's Hammer, Pre-cook Thor's Hammer, Post cook but using the juices to make up a sauce. dp
  5. Just to add more food porn. I like this thread just for all the food we see on it. Beef ribs were on special at a local Meat Market. I picked up 3 slabs since I had some time on Saturday to do them up. I cut them in section and cover with 2 different dry rubs (1 Coffee/Cocoa, 1 Buttery/Garlic) Then vacuum sealed for Sous-vide Then, in the immersion for 8hrs at 57.5°C. After this they go in the freezer and can be prepared in very little time at a later date. This is what they look like after the grilling (Pic from a previous cook) dp
  6. OB, try VLC on your phone to play .mov files. it's free. If VLC does not play a file, it's not meant to be played 😉 dp
  7. I have to agree with you. Although, in 2017, During march break, Anthem had Dogfish 90 IPA at the "English" pub. It only took us (We were a few families) 2 days to clean out their stock, but yummy!!! Other than that occasion, Red Hook and Goose Island were the most seen IPAs onboard. dp
  8. We always cruise with a Deluxe Bev package. We never felt the need for a water package. On the first day or 2, we would get a drink and ask for a water bottle. It was never a problem. We would save the water bottles in our fridge. After the first day or so, we had enough water bottles in our room fridge for the pretty much the rest of the cruise and excursions. dp
  9. That is what I thought I remembered from previous texts... DONT start on account of FB...😉. FB is like the BORG, Resistance is FUTILE! dp
  10. My own daughter gave me an Old Fashioned T-shirt like this one. I'm not sure what "hint" I was supposed to get from that. But, the fact that the FB targeted marketing algorithms are sending you these ads... that hints something 😁🥃 dp
  11. For us, the Drink package is like an American Express card... dp
  12. Let me see if I can help with the coffee question without making things worse... 😉 AKAIK only the Oasis class ships have an actual Starbucks Coffee Kiosk. Those are NOT included in drink packages. All other sources of specialty coffees, such as Café Lattitudes, Café Promenade and the likes that may dish out illy coffee, or Starbucks branded coffee, Seattle's Best, ARE included with drink packages and coffee punch cards. If I got it wrong, someone will surely chime in. dp
  13. I feel your pain 😉 We had room 7650 on 12 night cruise. we walked right by those "Crew Stairs" every single time we went anywhere, all the way to the "Aft Stairs" that are technically located pretty mid-ship. Most of the time, we would go down one level and then all the way aft again, past schooner bar, past just underneath our room and to the aft windows. It was probably just better for us anyway, to help us get our "Steps Count" in 😁 dp
  14. I read that you are a weirdo... but I won't believe you until I HEAR you say it out loud...perhaps on Bella II 😉 dp
  15. That happens here as well later in the season they have to close down fishing zones because of whale activity.
  16. Have a great Friday everyone. After a pre-diner Negroni Then was Quahogs And the Snow Crab season just opened here Now, off to the Hot Tub that I spent most of the day getting ready for the season. dp
  17. Thanks for the heads up. I remember on Anthem, the Music Hall also had Pool Tables that were pretty much left alone. It was a great quiet spot with a nice view in the afternoons. dp
  18. Just to add info, here is what it looks like looking out of one of those deck 7 Balconies on a radiance class. I don't recommend doing it, but I would feel comfortable walking out on that platform 😉 But I used to install radio antennae on building rooftops in my previous life. Short Video might also help you see what it looks like. dp
  19. Beeeeaaaautiful day here on the Canadian East Coast. I decided yesterday to take the day off today when I seen the forecast. Decided to setup my DW's Hot tub so I can hopefully have it ready for use this weekend. I know there are more than a few coffee fans here, so I took a break from working outside and came in to make a pour over. Wish I could make you all one also. OK. Done coffee break. Back to the grind now 😉 dp
  20. That is good to know, but does not affect me as I'm only a with a bev package 😉 ... but I'm movin on up... dp
