Which Neptune Suite did you end up with? Hope you had an SA or SB. We're in a similar situation for a 4th Neptune Suite for friends who want to join 6 weeks before sailing. Online there're no Neptune suites available. However after calling HAL, they put us on waitlist for a NS and shortly after that, they sent a confirmation for a guarantee NS...in category SC. So we asked if they could put us on waitlist for SA or SB, it was all difficult, only HQ in Seattle can allocate the cabins etc. After reading your posts, we have a slightly better understanding of how HAL works, so thank you for sharing your experience!

When there's a cruise calling the Rotterdam port, there's usually a line of taxis available. If all taken, walk in 1 minute to NH Hotel, where there's also a taxi stand. If that's also taken, walk 4min to the metro station Wilhelminaplein, which is the fastest way to Rotterdam Central station (around 7min). Last week on Seaview the chocolate ship, spumante & macarons were brought to the cabin on "Elegant Night", Thursdays in the Mediterranean. Night before also strawberries dipped in chocolate (they were finished before I could take a picture 😋). Had complimentary dinner at Butcher's Cut, it was excellent!

Captain Dimitrios Kafetzis is the most entertaining and funniest Captain we have experienced! Most Celebrity staff are good, apart from the butler we had once when we were at the Retreat. When we returned another time and staying in a "normal" veranda cabin, she recognised us from the Retreat from previous cruise. She asked if we were staying at the Retreat again. We said no, this time wanted to experience the other restaurants as well, apart from from the Luminae. Than she just walked off, no time for us "normal" guests anymore.
