If I decide to go only to Honfleur, can that be done directly by taxi from the port? It seems that many recommend going in La Havre and then using the Bee Le Havre buses. What is the benefit in this as you are only given three hours in Honfleur with Bee Le Havre.

Thank you for the detailed response!! I have sent some requests in to get a quote for a driver. Do you know if there will be taxis at the port that can take us? Maybe I can negotiate there for a driver for a day. If not we will just go to Honfleur and maybe wander around LeHarve for a while.

I would like to arrange a driver or find a tour to visit both Honfleur and Etretat in one day. Is the possible? What is the drive time to Honfleur? And Etretat? We will be in port from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM, so we will have a lot of time to do this.

The tour is called KEUKENHOF: FESTIVAL OF TULIPS. It is a tour from the MSC Euribia. It lasts 5 1/2 hours. We would do it on April 16th. I cannot find a private tour to Keukenof from Rotterdam.

Has anyone done this tour from Rotterdam? I will be there in April and am thinking about doing this. Any opinions?

Will there be vendors selling whale watching excursions at the ports of PV, Cabo, or Manzanillo? I would prefer to just get one at one of the ports rather than schedule it ahead of time.

Will you be getting a tour operator at the port upon arrival? I want to do this too. I'm debating between doing it in Cabo or PV.

Which of these ports would be the best to take a whale watching tour? Does anyone have any recommendations of a good company? Can we just get a tour at the port?

Will there be available tour guides or taxis at the port when we disembark? I am planning on just getting an UBER/Taxi to Portland Head Light, then going on the train or the Mail Run. Will there be transportation easily available?

I will be in Acapulco on December 13th. I would like to walk along the Malecon, go to the beach, and see the cliff divers at 1 PM. I would like to do this on my own. Can we walk to the place where the cliff divers are or do we need to take a taxi?

My ship, the NCL Bliss, gets into Long Beach at AM. Is a 1:13 PM flight out of LAX reasonable? I am worried about customs as we will be visiting Columbia and Panama. We will be using self debark and hen UBER to the airport.

I had looked at it a while back, but the prices were higher! Mapquest says it is an 11 minute walk to the car rental agency! Do you know if that is accurate?

Thinking about booking some really cheap flights on American going into LGA and out of JFK for a September cruise. We will stay near the LGA airport one night precruise and will transfer from the port to JFK at the end of the cruise. At JFK we will rent a car for 5 nights to drive into Connecticut and New Hampshire before returning to JFK for the flight home. What is the best way to get from the port to JFK? UBER, Taxi, Subway, Shuttle? I thought about renting a car close to the port, but then I will have to drive back into the city to return it and I still would have to do the transfer to JFK.

I will be retiring soon, so I have been searching lots of longer, more exotic cruises. I have noticed that on almost all of them the sail away inside category is sold out. Do these cabins really sell out 1 to 2 years in advance, or is NCL only selling them as part of a Free at Sea Package, thus upping the price of the cruise? We are not real drinkers and would not benefit from these packages or the extra service charges attached to them. How can I get the sail away inside prices?

Just stopping in Colon as a port. WE will be in port from 9 AM- 7 PM.

We will be arriving in Colon on November 23. I have not read very many good thing about this port. I really prefer not to take a ship excursion, but have not found many alternatives. I have been through the canal before and kayaked at Gatun Lake. That was before the Agua Clara locks opened. Is it possible to get a taxi at the port and go to the locks and maybe see the Bridge of the Atlantic? Is there anything else nearby that would be worth a visit and would be safe?
