  1. We were just on Empress... John is there through the end of this month and then is going back to Grandeur. He mentioned they have new hotel directors on both Empress and Grandeur, so he's going back and forth between the two.
  2. Do you (or anyone that's sailed Freedom from San Juan recently) happen to remember what time they started self-disembark?
  3. We've currently got two duplicates (Radiance and Brilliance) that we'd be willing to trade for any of the following: Liberty Adventure Explorer Rhapsody Grandeur Enchantment Legend Majesty If anyone is interested, they can contact me at elleluv963 at hotmail
  4. Official recommended flight times from RCCL for your sailing are 11:30 if flying from FLL and 12:30 if flying from MIA
  5. It's getting harder all the time not to duplicate blocks. We've currently got two duplicates (Radiance and Brilliance) that we'd be willing to trade for any of the following: Liberty Adventure Explorer Rhapsody Grandeur Enchantment Legend Majesty If anyone is interested, they can contact me at elleluv963 at hotmail
  6. I believe the OP is on the same sailing that we are... We're fortunate that Radiance is the only ship in Vancouver on 17 May 2019.
  7. I'm guessing you are coming in from Hawaii on Radiance with us since the flights for 17 May 2019 just opened today. ;) We booked our flights this afternoon and I booked a flight that leaves at 1:00 PM. We've done the first cruise into Vancouver several times, and I think 1:00 is perfect. We had an 11:15 booked several years ago and made it by the skin of our teeth, but there was a delay getting the ship cleared AND the airport was being remodeled so it was a mess. We got to the gate just as they started boarding. We may take the Light Rail... super easy... and we have enough time.
  8. They released Empress Cuba sailings for April/May 2019 a few weeks ago. We're booked on an 8 night sailing on 13 April 2019 that visits the two new Cuba ports and also does an overnight in Havana.
  9. It's getting harder all the time not to duplicate blocks. :D We've currently got two duplicates (Radiance and Brilliance) that we'd be willing to trade for any of the following: Liberty Adventure Explorer Rhapsody Grandeur Enchantment Legend Majesty If anyone is interested, they can contact me at elleluv963 at hotmail
  10. We were in a GS (1586) on Navigator a few weeks ago... we did not have a game system in our cabin. It's possible that they may just have them in some of the cabins at this point... they may just be removing them instead of replacing them when they break down.
  11. Earliest flight time RCCL allows for transfers to the airport when sailing out of Venice is 11:00 AM.
  12. I'm not sure where the OP got their information, but we stopped in St. Maarten while on Jewel over Christmas and there was a note in the Cruise Compass recommending that passengers not go to the French side of the island due to the devastation on that part of the island. We went out to Maho and saw a LOT of damage on the Dutch side along the way. Maho beach was open and busy, but not packed. You could see there was a lot of erosion, but it looked like they had been working to replace the sand that was lost. Sunset Bar was open and operational, so we sat and enjoyed a couple of drinks and a snack while the "kids" went out and played in the water.
  13. I would suggest that your SIL have a conversation with his 1st Sgt prior to final payment. DH is retired AF and is currently working for them as a civilian. Last I heard, part (but not all) of Mexico was on the prohibited list. Cozumel and Costa Maya actually *may* be all right. As a civilian, DH still needs to report any foreign travel and get "briefed" on potential safety risks in those areas.
  14. I'll have to make a point of checking out the CL wine selection at those two venues. Our taste in wine is pretty similar, so if you found something you like there I would expect to as well. I had 5 bottles of wine on my recent Radiance cruise, so that was plenty... I'd just grab a bottle from my cabin and bring it along with me. Hope you enjoyed your Solstice sailing, we missed you over on Radiance.
  15. If I recall correctly... second bottle at 350 points and third bottle at 525 points.
