  1. that sounds very unpleasant. I travel solo and These rooms are too small. I normally book at least a junior suite just for myself and have at least some comfort. You just have to be assigned to a room. You can sleep anywhere you want. they have a really nice two bedroom owners suite I’ve stayed there and in the one bedroom suite and these do have a bit more space you can see my videos on YouTube. another disadvantage to your scenario I just realized is that every time you add or delete someone the reservation gets reprised so that can either get less money or more money per person a lot of times it’s better just to book a new room with whoever wants to come.
  2. most likely no. And if they do, I would suggest 100 or $200 bribe.
  3. There’s a new popular trend with people to book handicap cabins that aren’t handicapped and it’s extremely irritating. People that aren’t in a wheelchair or some other pervasive injury should not be in these cabins. I have had eight neck and back surgeries and need the handicapped bathroom. I cannot go on the cruise if these rooms aren’t available. currently I am on the world cruise and there are five other handicap rooms on the ship that are occupied by Chinese people with no problems they simply think it’s some kind of thing to book the extra room, even though there’s nothing wrong with them anyway there’s two other people on my hallway that are in wheelchairs that are in regular cabins because they’re just wasn’t any available due to these idiots one of the guys is in a room directly above me and is the Chinese group leader about 40 years old perfect health, but yet easily has one of the best handicapped rooms on the ship I personally find this abhorrent and disgusting
  4. Ironically, I also have packed everything you mentioned. I have been on a cruise since July 2021 and princess and Cunard have been the only ones that have a laundromat. I get free laundry on other ones but I always make plans to do it myself just in case Thank you for the great information
  5. Thanks I was hoping for some photos or some thing concrete because it is only a few days away. Obviously, I was just joking about the laundry but you were right they would have a do it yourself laundry package if they could get away with it I’m currently on enchanted princess where I’ve been for the last 70 days and they do give you free laundry here as an elite member, which is only 150 nights However I like to do my laundry myself so they give me free tokens to go use the self-service laundry, which after you get used to it it’s hard to go back to the regular normal cruise ship type situation Thank you for replying.
  6. Does anybody have any further information on the laundry situation? I would happily give $1000 to be able to have access to a washing machine for this cruise. I’ll be on for the whole W C, and I hate sending out my laundry. They shrink the hell out of it. This cruise I have to worry about gaining inches. Lol unfortunately not losing them.
  7. What ship were you? You didn’t find it absolutely offensive I’ve never been on a cruise line. Worse than MSC.
  8. its 6 points versus 4 per day as long as its on the same booking number where you actually have it requoted to a suite category if your solo.
  9. A few weeks to a month before the cruise they will send you an email suggesting you bid for an upgrade
  10. Yes my friend came over and got me and told me about it and she’s a female. She made the initial observation and video and I won’t be discussing this any further. Believe it or not it’s up to you
  11. I don’t think anybody likes miscellaneous South Florida people except other miscellaneous South Florida people
  12. Call it whatever you want it’s a fact and he was actively doing an activity I can’t talk about on cruise critic. It’s called finger b@@ging
  13. I have seen so much on MSC. In their defense non officer staff is always very good but the officers not so much. God help you if you need to go to the front desk
  14. Well OK you asked for it. I was at the pool deck and there was a man with his hand in the pants of his lady friend in the front looking for Loose change we would say. I complain to the ship immediately and they did nothing we were in a port My friend called the police the police came and arrested this man because My friend had it on video. They were some miscellaneous South Florida people.
  15. It’s quite obvious you’re not gonna get a premium experience but they sell it as a premium experience. I will say the fellow passengers on MSC are the real problem. Because it’s mostly southern European people And southern Florida people there will be a lot of very very very poor behavior that would not be tolerated anywhere else but it seems to be the norm on MSC. I was on the Divina for a few months and thank God it was only 25 to 50% occupied I can’t imagine what it would be like sold out. I was also on the Grandiosa for a few months and I will say the yacht club there was much better. So I guess what I would say is this is a middle of the road upgraded experience. Over on regent or hapag is Where you should go if you’re looking for something luxurious
  16. Your question was already answered. I will also tell you as someone who has been on every cruise line that MSC is quite a bit lagging if you expect to have a premium experience
  17. Yes where it’s outlined abandoned cabanas and trees to sit beneath. Not many people go out there so it’s kind of like a Haven
  18. you pretty much have to go by every other beach to get to the yacht club beach. This past winter I spent 2 1/2 months on an MSC ship in the yacht club and every week at least once or twice I was there. There is a far better beach if you get off at the yacht club stop and go straight across the street and walk as far south on the island to the end it’s absolutely quiet and an amazing view of a bay/entry waterway to the other beach area.
  19. Well I guess you are a lightweight. I have been on more than 250
