  1. We have an Oct cruise booked and paid for that we think will probably be cancelled but we will not be taking the 125% voucher. We had one cancelled in June and did use the voucher for one next June. I think we should hear something soon about October. Sharon
  2. I think one difference in when you have to pay is what kind of "special pricing" you get. We booked one once that had a really great special price and we had to pay the balance almost a year in advance.
  3. We are scheduled for November, 2020 (West Indies Explorer, Nov 9) and our final payment is due by the end of this month. We haven't received anything from Viking "reminding" us to pay yet so we are hoping it will get delayed but I doubt it. We also think there is a good possibility this gets cancelled, but will wait to see. Sharon
  4. According to Wyatt Burns (my Viking representative) for insurance purposes the cost of the cruise is $0. We got our insurance through Viking. I only know what he told me. I know I really paid for the cruise. 🙂
  5. I will try and do a better job of explaining. The cost of insurance of a cruise is based on the cost of the cruise. I believe it (the insurance) was $819 per person on our old cruise. The cost of my new cruise is $0 (because of the voucher being applied to it) so the insurance is very low. I think he said it would be around $300. I didn't sign up for it now so don't have exact amount or why it is $300. Is that more clear? Sharon
  6. Our cruise in June was cancelled, of course. The price for next year is a little lower. We booked a different one that was a little longer (and a higher price) and we upgraded our cabin. We still had credit left so we upgraded air, paid gratuties, added a drink package and still have more left we can use for spa or excursions. (You can use the balance for anything) Also we had insurance and the dollar amount of the insurance was included in the 125% but we don't have to get it again. If we do want to get it, it will be much less because the amount of the insurance is based on the cost of t

  8. We leave on the Explorer on Tuesday, Feb 11 and I don't care which terminal it is, I just want to go enjoy the weather and have fun!! 😎
  9. When I wanted to make an appointment for an upcoming cruise for a manicure I called Regent. They said they just negotiated a new contract with a new vendor and gave me the date when I could call the vendor for an appointment. I called that number on that date and made the appointment with the new vendor. I have found that outside vendors do it on several cruise lines and they do expect tips Sharon
  10. We were on a Viking excursion that was an hour late getting back to the ship. Viking had set up a table by the door to enter the ship (outside) and had champagne sitting on it for everyone and many of the crew were there handing it out and cheering. It was fun and we were sure glad it was a Viking excursion. The ship left right after the bus emptied.
  11. Hi, Our documents show Terminal J. I am not sure of the date we received them. Sharon
