  1. Seashore currently: watch video in cabin, call the specified number, then report IN MASS to your assembly station. It's all fine up until everyone is stepping over everyone to get to their station, at which place they scan your card and you leave. Hopefully they will make the change to individual reporting soon.
  2. YC back to back guest must do the turnaround as others. We are on our third week and YC guests are escorted off and back on just as all others as the ship has to be brought to a zero count between cruises. Of course,YC guests are escorted off and back on first.
  3. A follow up to my earlier post. I did finish check in online up until the photo request. A few hours later, I received MSC email with our Eticket docs.
  4. I'll give them til March 30 to get their on-line check in mess fixed because we sail on the 31st. I only have a computer to use to check in with, and I am not able to use the camera, so I guess we just show up at check in with no documents?
  5. Be careful in recommending Celebrity. We are on Constellation for 30+ days right now and are extremely disappointed in the dining. Case in point, last night's dinner offering was Meatloaf and a vegetarian pot pie with only mushrooms and potatoes. We sail most of the cruise lines at least 100 or more days a year and find that Celebrity food at this point is no better than MSC or Royal-in fact their offerings are better than what we've found on Celebrity--such a decline, such a sad state of affairs!
  6. There are way more scooters than the number of accessible rooms and the number of rental scooters seem to be growing every year. I bring my own and scooter but do not leave it in the hall. No matter the category of cabin, there is plenty of room to store it inside; I can always fit it through the cabin door so never need to leave it in the hall. (My scooter is the same kind that is the usual rental model so I know that there is no reason to not store it in the cabin.)
  7. Wish I could find the Monin syrups; have tried everywhere but no luck.
  8. Thank you for response. It seems the website for ItCouldBeWorse.com is now for sale. I will keep googling though. Thanks again.
  9. I had a very disappointing day in St Thomas today. I must use a scooter to get around-can't do without. Scooter easily breaks down to fit in a trunk so that is how I get around in a taxi to a beach or town. Unfortunately, there are no private taxis at Crown Bay. There are only the "truck buses" which are not accessible. We are returning to St Thomas for Christmas cruise and I have searched for any and all ways to get around other than ship excursions. Has anyone found an easy way to rent an auto or to get a car model taxi?
  10. Royal cannot/does not require "proof" that the client needs the accessible cabin. They do require that the individual self-certify that they need the cabin for specific benefits available in an accessible cabin. As one who does need the accessible cabin, I know that I have to book very early because there are not a sufficient number of cabins available for all those who require them. Unavailability rarely is because an unscrupulous TA "snagged" them.
  11. If you report to Medical with Noro symptoms, they will quarantine you for 3 days.
  12. Daughter and husband booked a Casino Royal free cruise. DH is the one with the free cruise offering; however he may not be able to go; Daughter wants to know: if he can't go at the last minute, will she still be able to go?
  13. It wasn't the anchorage that BH folks objected to; it was the number of tourists in their town.
  14. If you received a scooter to use it was probably the standard Pride machine. The scooter has an adjustable knob on the front column to allow you to bring the controls closer to you or to push them farther forward if need be. It is too bad you didn't ask questions about the scooter when you were talking with the company or ask questions of any of the other multiple Pride users on the ship. I personally don't understand the preference of a wheelchair when the scooter is so much more maneuverable. JMO.
  15. Another question: Would I be able to move the reservation with no penalty other than repricing for the new date?
  16. Thank you. Your info makes me feel much better as the third person was not at a low fare and didn't want to lose all of it.
  17. Have 3 persons booked for Wonder; however, one may not be able to go. Is there a penalty for the third person dropping out if before final payment?
  18. Pre-covid, we booked on a Friday afternoon for sailing on Saturday.
  19. We did not receive our Authorization until the week before sailing. I believe others had the same experience so don't panic yet.
  20. FOR FUTURE REFEENCE "Generally, there are no restrictions on baked goods. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has a general list of approved products of which breads, cakes, cookies, and other bakery goods are listed." https://help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-318?language=en_US
  21. On Divina last cruise and this week: I have the surf internet and it is painfully slow. And, they do block sites like YouTube, etc.
  22. So sorry you had a disappointing cruise. Here is a little info that I hope will make you feel a little better: Cost of a Take Out Meal at Outback Steakhouse with no table service, no drinks per person $5.99 French onion soup $2.50 Steakhouse mac n cheese $4.99 blue cheese chopped salad $23.99 petite filet with baked potato $1.99 per topping for sauce for potato or steak $8.99 New York style cheesecake $48.45 x 4 people: Total before tax or tip $193.80 The menu is equivalent to a full dinner in Chops- and with Chops you get the ambiance and table service. So I don't think you should feel cheated at what you receive at a specialty restaurant on a ship do you?
  23. We were surprised this morning on Divina when she docked at the International Pier. We are the only ship in today though there is one Carnival ship docked over at their usual pier.
  24. Currently on the Divina, they only require 2-4 year olds to mask and I see many in that age group who are not masked.
  25. Returning to the original questions: We are on Divina this week. Passenger count is about 3000 and at 70%. Masks are not required except for infants and toddlers. Crew is still "mostly" wearing them (as sometimes completely down around chins) and very very few adult or teen guests in masks. Cannot relay as to what if any protocols if one is sick as they are not published or announced.
