  2. Bummer! I'm sure we will find someone to hand the extra cups to!
  3. Yes, we also got this offer for our Adventure sailing at the end of March, upgrade to 2 JS. For the two of us, seemed kind of crazy. I decided I wanted a GS and just moved to an available one vs hoping for a Royal Up.
  4. We will be on Allure on May 8, are you on this cruise? We may have two extra cups...
  5. I tried that a few weeks ago for the first time on Adventure. I had a new converter, plugged in our small travel fan, and it ruined my fan. There wasn't anything wrong with the fan, it worked just fine the night before at the hotel. I won't be trying that again!
  6. So maybe my May cruise will have an Easter scavenger hunt after all lol!
  7. We have a JS on our May 8 Allure cruise. I put in a few Royal Up bids. Doesn't look too promising, tonight it says upgrade unavailable for one bid, and pending for all the others. When I checked earlier today, there were a few suites available. Now, they are showing as all sold out. Bummer! Wish I had booked the full suite to begin with... lesson learned for sure!
  8. That is the joy of being free to make our now choices... I am thrilled to be going on our next cruise in less than 2 weeks. We were on one a month ago, and the limited times we had to wear our masks didn't bother us at all.
  9. I don't know how accurate the app entertainment information is before the cruise. We will be on Allure on May 8, and I'm seeing Easter scavenger hunt as one of our events.
  10. Hmmm... thinking we could give away some... maybe find some kids who look like they want one lol! We have the refreshment package again, and used everything except the Freestyle machine last time.
  11. Ovation of the Seas 9210 (we had the room next to us also) Half bath Full bath
  12. We actually saw most children and some adults wearing them on our cruise. I just figured I'd share the new protocols for the parents who have been waiting to see the change.
  13. If we never used ours on March cruise, we can use it in May? Would it have been activated with the Freestyle machine? I used mine for water in our stateroom, my husband's is still in the shrink-wrap.
  14. I think it is optional to include booster information. It isn't required. I uploaded our vaccine cards awhile ago for our May 8 cruise, and I don't see any way to add the booster info.
  15. Here is the protocol email I received on 3/15 for our 3/28 cruise…
  16. I cruised at the end of March, and I just pulled up the protocols from that cruise. So, for everyone saying all masks haven't been required since February, sorry, you are wrong. Perhaps the rule wasn't being followed, or enforced, on your recent cruises, but they we expected to be worn by unvaccinated children. Also required in Adventure Ocean, terminals, and various destinations. This is in an email I received on March 15. The email I shared about no masks being optional for everyone, unvaccinated children included, is the first that I had seen stating. I just love all the arguing on CC... always a good laugh when I get on here!
  17. Updated Mask Policy for Royal Caribbean Sailings As you know, our protocols are fluid and subject to change. We proactively review all of our requirements to meet the guidance of various government and health authorities to ensure the health and safety of our guests and crew. Due to recent changes in mask guidance, we’ve updated our mask policy, effective immediately, for all of our sailings where we've announced protocols, excluding Singapore departures. Updated Mask Policy Masks are optional for vaccinated guests and recommended for unvaccinated children while onboard. In our terminals, masks are optional unless required by local regulation. Some destinations we visit may require masks. Guests under 2 years old don’t need to wear a mask. These protocols are subject to change. Thank you for your continued understanding as we work diligently to provide you with the very best cruise experience. We look forward to seeing you onboard soon!
  18. I believe that calculating the cruise planner prices is done while playing a drinking game... think college frat parties level drinking games 😆
  19. Thanks again! We are still debating whether we want to just stay on the ship, as we have Coco Cay the next day, with an over the water cabana, so counting on that being our awesome beach day of the cruise. But the day pass sounds like a nice option where we wouldn't feel like we had to stay longer.
  20. Thanks! The all-inclusive isn't that appealing to us, as none of us drink alcohol. Do you remember how much was the day pass?
  21. I have never taken a 3 night cruise, but I have taken a 4 or 5 night cruise a few times. I always prefer a 7+ night cruise, but it sometimes doesn't work for our calendar. We just went on Adventure for four nights and loved every second of the cruise, there was always a lot to do. Not a Windjammer fan, so I can't speak to that one.
  22. Did you purchase your day pass ahead of time for El Cid, or were you able to buy it the day you arrived?
  23. Just caught up again! Thanks for the wonderful review, I am really enjoying it! We have been going back and forth on whether or not to even try Chops this cruise with our daughter. Hubby and I just ate there a few weeks ago on Adventure, and we will get another chance on Serenade in July. So, after reading about your experience, I'm thinking we will double up other restaurants and skip Chops for her. It just seems to me that they could come up with something for vegetarians, even if it is a steak house, besides just the sides. I hope you have been enjoying your last day! We can't wait to board Allure in a few weeks!
