  1. Can you give me any more info on the City Bus? Where can we pick it up? How often does it run? Is it easy to catch it coming back to the dock? About how long a ride would it be to Nelson's Dockyard? We are having a tough time planning what to do on this island and any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
  2. Thank you so much for your comments. Makes me feel alot more comfortable giving the Crown Grill a try for Formal night. We sail in 11 days and having a hard time of thinking of anything else for days now! :)
  3. Hi Folks, Just wondering if anyone has had any recent experience with the Mini-Boat Adventure excursion offered through Princess. We had a really had time figuring out what to do in this port. We didn't want to hang out a beach all day, not shoppers and had snorkling excursions planned for other islands. Also wondering if we would be able to do Nelsons Dockyard in the morning on our own. Our ship arrives at 8am and the mini boat excursion is at 12:30pm. Would this give us enough time to get back and forth from the Dockyard by noon? Thanks in advance for any information you can provide,
  4. Hi All, We are booked on the Sea Turtle & Shipwreck Snorkle tour through Princess for the end of the month. Has anyone had any experience with this tour? It's a bit pricey, but with like the security of using the ships excursions. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks for all the great info we are able to get from the CC members,
  5. Seattlec5, Just curious, can you tell me what the dress code was in the specialty restaurants on formal nights? I'm getting a lot of conflicting information. Some say they are "Smart Casual" and others say formal attire is required. It also seems it may vary from ship to ship. I would love to be able to go to the Crown Grill, without dressing formal. Thanks a bunch for your help,
  6. Lora, Thank you so much for your great live thread and for the terrific pictures. I just got done admiring them (and drooling over the menu shots) :-). We leave in less than 2 weeks and your posts got me even more excited about the cruise (I didn't think that was even possible)! :) Thanks a bunch,
  7. Below is a link to the menu from the Princess Website. Hope it helps. http://www.princess.com/learn/onboard/dining/menus/specialty_restaurant/CrownGrillSampleMenu.pdf
  8. Thanks, sounds great.....we are thinking of it as an alternative option for formal night.
  9. Hi All, Just wondering if anyone knows what the per person coverage for the Crown Grill is? Thanks,
  10. Hi Lora, Just had to comment on your cc signature...I'm so jealous. I thought the pic you posted must have been of your family (lol) then I looked closer! You did the Ships & Dip with the Barenaked Ladies, how cool. They are my favorite band of all time. Don't want to get off topic, but could only imagine how much fun that cruise must have been and had to tell you that you are my kinda girl! :) Thanks again for answering so many of our questions and taking the time to post. Hope you are having a fantastic time.
  11. Hi and Happy Birthday! Just wondering if you could tell me, between the Island & Coral Dining rooms, which one has more tables for 2? Also, can you confirm that the Crown Grill dress code is smart casual for Formal Nights. Thank you so much for taking the time to post and for the gorgeous pictures. We sail her in just a couple weeks, and I can hardly wait!
  12. Thanks so much for taking the time to post your review. I am on this same itinerary the end of April, and can hardly wait. Sounds like it is going to be a great cruise. :)
  13. We have always booked our excursions through princess. No question they are more expensive than booking on your own (sometimes more than double). But for us the peace of mind we get knowing the ship won't leave without us is well worth the extra cost and we are able to enjoy ourselves that much more. Enjoy your cruise.
  14. Thanks for posting this link, it is very helpful. Looks like we don't have too much too worry about....I'm on the same CB cruise with you. :)
