    NCL vs RC food

Overall, we prefer the food on NCL but I do think there are huge differences between ships. I agree that O’Sheehans is awesome. I actually like their Reuben’s and wings. Unlike rcl where i dislike their late night options.O’sheehans is Perfect late night bar food to hit up right after howl at the moon [emoji287]. And not to forget o’sheehans is a third option for breakfast and lunch too. We like being able to get served breakfast over a larger time frame. Last time I think breakfast was 6-11 am. MDR breakfast has more restricted hours on both lines. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Jade Live- Norwegian fjords from Hamburg to Southampton.

Lunch was good- service a bit slow (1hour 40 minute lunch)- we weren't in a hurry. Pub crawl was fine, but we didn't make it all the way- Amsterdam is still kicking my a** and we closed the bar onboard last night too. Here is some lunch shots- my spinach and mushroom omelette was better than dh fish n chips. Peanut butter cheesecake, key lime pie, and white chocolate mousse for dessert. Yum. App to find Free wifi and iphone checklist. Help please.

Thank you so much for your time Lew. I do have a clarifying question.... You mentioned that I should leave 3G on but I was under the impression that 3G was a charge to verizon when using the Iphone (I probably have this totally confused). Is 3G data sent via a computer (Iphone) or is 3G data sent by a phone line (cell phone). I have absolutely no use for a cell phone there and do not plan to turn on the cell phone or use text messages. I just want free wifi. TIA! Cheryl :)
  9. I read that there are apps to download ahead of time that will allow me to find free wifi hot spots in Turkey. Can anyone link or recommend an app or a place to access free wifi in Kusadasi and Istanbul? And finally, Just to make sure I'm doing this correctly: 1) I need to turn my iphone to airplane mode to avoid data charges while in Europe. 2) When in airplane mode, I will need to manually turn on wifi. This will allow me to access free wifi and avoid charges. Anything else I'm missing? Thank you in advance! Cheryl

Cruise Port to Hotel Antiche Figure and then Hotel to Airport

Thanks to everyone who has replied!! We don't have any issues walking and while we aren't on an extremely tight budget, I don't see any reason to spend on transportation when I can spend on wine! :). So, here is my recap. I'm still a bit unsure about transportation from hotel to airport. 1) Going to hotel: Princess transfers or people mover to Piazzale Roma. Either store big luggage at luggage store there and proceed to walk with carry ons, or if motivated drag the big luggage too. 2) Hotel to airport: Walk back to Piazzale Roma. Do we just grab a bus from here to the airport? Does it drop us off directly at the airport? Other option is to take a private water taxi directly from the hotel for $100 Euro, but there is a 10 minute walk at the end. Is this sounding right? Cheryl :)
