  1. Read more than just one article. We loved Alaska and would hopefully get to go again. If you have some time here is the blog my husband did about our trip here on CC. Hope you decide to go.
  2. Congratulations! Hopefully your Hubby will surprise you and end up loving it! Then you guys will be addicted. Best vacations ever!
  3. We had 9658 next door and there was no problem from the sun. With the balcony being deeper you have both covered area up by door/windows and open area. We loved it!! You have nothing to worry about at all! Enjoy!
  4. Thanks so much for the review! Leaving this Sunday on this ship with the same itinerary!
  5. We did this on our Thanksgiving week cruise. It was sooo much fun! You have to all work together and listen to what each one comes up. Work as a group! We finished with 5 min and 4 sec's left!! It is not easy to do. Not sure if the younger ones would be able to solve as some clues are complicated. I booked ours through the activity section on the cruise planner. Got to pick the day and time which made it easy to plan for. Did ours on a sea day. Have fun!! PS... not a geek either! LOL.
  6. Was wondering if there is a pic among those that have sailed Symphony of the muster station locations? Looking for G04. Twangster thanks again for the fantastic live from! Great pictures.
  7. Just watched the sail-a-way out of Port Canaveral. So excited for the 17th. Have they given you a time of arrival in Miami? Hoping to catch it on the Port Miami web cam. Thanks again for the great blog! All you info has made me more excited for our sailing!
  8. Thanks for sharing. Will be following along all the way as I am anxiously awaiting November 17th so we can board!! Love the pictures!
  9. Hi! We went to Alaska in August of 2017. My husband got a credit card ( I believe it was thru capital one) or it was an Airline one (we flew United) He used it for everything we did. Gas, groceries, bills and would pay it down at end of month. He was able to get enough points that his round trip fare was paid and one way of mine. We flew out of Knoxville since we live in TN but it would have been about $1800 from there for us. Just a suggestion. Enjoy your cruise!!
  10. As other's have said THANK YOU so very much for your review! We did a similar tour and then the same southbound cruise on the Radiance also back in August of 2017. We did the DogGoneIt tour and that was a favorite! I have enjoyed reading this and reliving our trip! Thanks again!
