  1. I've gotten a price drop on our cabin and flights once so far (Millennium from St. Maarten 8/14)... as long as there are cabins available in the category you booked, you will receive OBC since you're PIF.
  2. S Class Aft facing balconies (SV & C1): Any particular deck offer a larger balcony than others? I noticed all the cabins classified as SV are connecting cabins, which I've always avoided- how bad is the noise transfer? TIA 🙂
  3. Even w/ a reduced capacity of let's say 1,500 pax... the Coz airport is tiny, can it handle the load? We enjoyed a land vacation there in January, our AA flight had 40 people and they had to stop the luggage conveyor belt because it was overloaded. We would definitely consider leaving from Coz, so I hope they can figure something out! 134 days till the Millennium from St. Maarten 🤞
  4. Not finding a lot of information on the added balconies- deck 10 forward. Are the cabins the typical 2C size? Are the balconies larger, similar to a sweet 16? Are the balconies completely covered? It appears 1024/1022 may be the best option to avoid noise from the above deck. TIA 🙂 Tiffany
  5. We have decided on an aft facing balcony (not an aft-wrap or suite) for our Alaskan cruise... it appears deck 8 and deck 6 may offer a larger balcony than deck 5- is this correct? I wouldn't normally book a cabin under Lido, but we want a large balcony to enjoy the scenery... what say the HAL experts?!? TIA 🙂 Tiffany
  6. We were booked on the Oct. 1st sailing- final payment would have been due on Aug. 2nd.
  7. We went ahead and booked... flights were cheap, so we won't be out much. We're on the Celebrity Reflection in December, but the Serenity price was too good to pass up.
  8. I'm very interested in the cruise line/itinerary... and pricing is comparable to other lines we sail- which will probably never happen again. We live a few hours from Miami, and the flight back from San Juan is short. Who is booked, and what do you think the likelihood of the ship sailing? We've had four cruises canceled already... and have three more booked this year, but I'd be canceling one of those for this cruise. $3,800 for a basic veranda stateroom is hard to pass up...
  9. Considering a Spa Balcony on the Magic- deck 12... is the balcony covered? Also, I've found one picture and it appears the front is open a bit- wondering about privacy & wind issues. I'm aware this cabin shares a wall with the gym, but I don't believe that will be an issue for us. Any pictures or information will be greatly appreciated!
  10. NancyIL, we loved the Empress- hope you do too!
  11. No, Our 4/11 cruise was canceled- so we were considering a cruise to Bermuda in July/August w/ Celebrity or RC. Agree about May too, I'm waiting to receive an email that our 5/16 cruise is canceled :( We've decided to keep it easy and leave from Florida instead- 8 night Eastern Caribbean on the Equinox.
  12. Hope I didn't offend you, that wasn't my intention. Sounds like it will be similar to Sea Tac- TY for responding.
  13. Our April cruise was canceled last night, so we've narrowed it down to 3 Bermuda itineraries leaving from Bayonne.... this will be our first time flying into Newark and leaving from Bayonne. The flight from Florida will take just under 3 hours, landing before 9am- and we plan on taking the cruise line transfer to the port. I see no issues, but my husband says Newark is a zoo. For those familiar w/ the airport/area/port, is this feasible? We always fly into San Juan the afternoon of our cruises w/ no issues- but my husband has me worried about Newark.
  14. Thank you for your time, Pete. Looking through my October cruise pictures, I'm pretty sure the aft large windows are the MDR (La Pergola), not cabins- we enjoyed dining by those windows! I could be wrong though. Thank you for responding, shipgeeks.
