    Were doing same itineraries. lol

You might want to send details to your CVP that its a Prestige cruise.

In fact, I don't think you need to book Transportation now.

Won't you get contacted month before sailing by Exec Host?

    Thats what were planning on....

(Theres 2 days inbetween Emerald & Sky. So we'll probably take the Prestige

ride back to London and stay there somewhere.  Then figure out a ride back

    to Southampton for Sky.)

My CVP knew that it was a Prestige that I was booking and I told her that it says transportation is included and she said Yes,that will be a private car etc. I had already booked the 20 day Sky before I received the Prestige offer. I wouldn't get any perks except freeplay if I did that one and the airfare is more in June, so I will cancel and just do the week of the fjords on the Sky! Have you looked at how expensive some of the excursions thru Princess are?  Mary

Yes, ride is covered. Since its a long drive from Heathrow to Southampton & youre being driven in a very nice black Mercedes.  For us, its the Best Prestige (or Diamond) perk.

I booked the Prestige Norway cruise too! My CVP charged me for the transportation but I think that means I will get reimbursed. I haven't bought my flight yet because I am undecided if I will stay for a few days to visit some relatives and whether I will follow up with the Norwegian fjords on the Sky after the Prestige on the Emerald!

  3. Bob and I attended the MTG cocktail party on the Discovery week before last. Alaska. It was very nice and the top officers took time to visit with us. The staff Captain asked which we prefer, the cocktail party or the luncheon. They held it in Take 5. next to the casino .Our favorite violin duo entertained and servers came around with appetizers and drinks. It was nice to be recognized in a small group. (Bob has done 57 Princess cruises and I get to go along and enjoy the perks!) Mary

This!! I love the system. We've sailed 3 times in the past several months and each time the tracking showed our Medallion progress. It may have been a bit frustrating watching at a snails pace, but they all arrived in time -- even for our recent Alaska cruisetour which we left home a few days early 😀

Just don't count on tracking! My last cruise, the medallions arrived about a week before our cruise but the tracking didn't show anything except that I had ordered them. So it was a nice surprise!

  5. I didn't get the plus package for that cruise because my friend who was sharing my cabin doesn't drink. Having the elite mini bar and the weather wasn't nice enough to be by the pool, I didn't miss it.I talked to the host when I first started playing my $600 freeplay and she said she would look on her computer to see if I had any other comps. That's when she told me about the drinks while playing. The chocolate covered strawberries and the dinner or spa services were offered to me day 5.

  6. I was on the Majestic last week (Seattle to Alaska RT). I was using a come back and sail offer which didn't have princess plus. I asked the casino hostess if I would be getting any other perks besides the $600 free play. She said that NOW, something NEW!, when you have accumulated 400 points, let the host know and you will get free drinks while playing. The Majestic doesn't have a bar in the casino and the servers weren't around much BUT I did have a few free drinks during the week. Also later had a comp for the Asian restaurant Harmony which I "traded" for a wonderful massage comp. I didn't get any jackpots this cruise. My come back and sail offer is for another balcony,$600 free play, w/o the plus package and has to be used by 12/31/24.I finished with 12000 points.

  7. I have been traveling solo on 5 or 6 Princess cruises the last couple of years and prefer to eat in the dining room for dinner. I don't usually make a reservation but request a shared table when i get there. More often than not, I do get seated with other guests. My favorite solo trips have been when people meet here and when there's a planned get together for sailaway and meet and greet.

  8. "Mystery freeplay reveals onboard"!!  I see this is one of my new options on my Princess offers. I am curious but not going to use the offer. I wouldn't want to get on a cruise and go to the casino, only to find out it is just $100 freeplay. Hope someone will post if they use this one.

  9. Recently, after waiting 3 days for a call back, I called and left my CVP another message. She then called w/in an hour, and was apologetic. Thinking about my first voice mail that I left, maybe I didn't wait for the "if you are satisfied with your message...." so maybe the whole message didn't get recorded. Anyhow I am glad that I did call again!

  10. I don't have a prestige offer BUT the offer that just came in my USPS mail is for an inside cabin with only $300 freeplay. Why I am considering using this offer is because it can be up to a 20 day cruise sailing before !/30/26. My come back offers have been for balconies but only 15 day cruise with $600 freeplay. No plus package. I have a 20 day Norwegian fjords,Denmark and Sweden cruise in 5/2025 on my "wish" list.....just contemplating if this will be the best possibility. I probably would pay to upgrade to a balcony.I have until May10,2024 to book this offer. .

Thanks for posting your experience and what your bounceback (Come back & play) offer

was for.  I'm beginning to think this is their TOP offer if you get over 7,000 points?

Needless to say, on my next cruise in a couple weeks.... I won't be playing over that amount, if

thats all were gonna get anyway. 😑

I just finished 14 days on the Sky Princess and I also got that same come back offer for a free balcony and $600 freeplay. I had a low jackpot each week (1300 & 1250). The points don't carry over from the first week. Second week I ended with 11,000 points. I will try NOT to spend so much on my next cruise!!

  12. I have been wearing my medallion on a long silver chain from my own many silver chains. The necklace that Princess sells to hold the medallion is only 18 inches long (I believe I read) and the chain attaches to the sides which I think could easily break. If you have any necklaces longer than that already, compare to the length of the included lanyard and see how you like it .Mine is 20 inches I think and I am kinda short! After a few cruises, because I prefer a chain to a lanyard, i bought a package of hooks in the jewelry making section to hang the medallion on my chain so it doesn't flip over. I like it, however I decided to order the bangle bracelet (should arrive for my upcoming cruise) and see how I like that too.

  13. Hi! No one says how they are going about losing weight or managing to keep it off! I thought that is the topic of this thread? When I am not cruising, I follow Weight Watchers program and attend the meetings. When I am cruising, I have fruit, plain yogurt and coffee in my cabin to start the day. I do a lot of walking and drink water. When dinner comes along,I pass on the bread and butter and tend toward the seafood entree. I went on 5 cruises in 2023 and have lost 20 pounds in the past 6 months. Have a happy, healthy, cruising 2024 everyone!   Mary

  14. I rode the Brightline after my Quebec-Fort Lauderdale cruise ended. Tuesday Oct. 31,2023. I was impressed! So clean and smooth! I was glad that I had the address for it because it was the taxi driver's first time there too. I had pre-paid to check my suitcase but my traveling companions just carried theirs on as did many of the other train passengers. There was a stewardess selling drinks and snacks who came down the aisle a few times. We had assigned seats and were on a 10:30AM train but could have made the 9:30. I was picked up at terminal C when we got to Orlando and my friend had trouble finding the pick up spot because it was so new. She lives there and had never been there yet! I believe it may be where Jet Blue is located now. It was much more pleasant than going to the main airline terminal after the cruise ships unload.

I'll be elite for the first time this April. I like the idea of free beer and soda in my cabin. I hate the idea that I have to go back to my cabin to get a drink. Why can't Princess do it like Royal Caribbean diamond and diamond + where you have a drink credit each day. I don't go on a cruise to sit in my cabin and drink. Am I missing something? 🙂

I'm agreeing with you nasa1974! I will be doing my first elite level cruise as a solo in January. I want to be social on my cruise, not be drinking alone on my balcony! I understand change doesn't come easy. I think having the option of the mini bar set up OR the drink credits would be great!

  16. I have noticed at least 5 men wearing tuxedos and women with long gowns on both the 10 day Panama Canal cruise in April and the 12 day Quebec,New England cruise in October. If you own one,it seems formal nights would be worth dressing up, even if it's just for some photos by the ship photographers and dinner. Then you can have the ship laundry at least clean and press the shirt and polish your shoes!

  17. Flying isn't like it used to be, so don't be surprised if your flight is just normal. I was a flight attendant in the 80's and the captain gave us permission to serve champagne if we had enough to the whole plane. Other times, we played games and gave away bottles of wine and champagne. Now i don't know if they are even allowed to do that or may not have full size bottles! Once, a passenger brought our crew a box of cinnabons! occasionally a box of chocolates, sometimes we got tickets to events.

If you don't start receiving offers for mini suites and 1500 FP, I would call the casino.  People are still reporting 20,000 and above getting mini suites and 11,000 Balconies.

IF complaining gets it corrected, please let us know!!

  19. I got off the Caribbean Princess 12 day Quebec -FLL on October 31. My come back offer was for a balcony cabin up to 14 days with NO plus and $600 free play. I have to take the cruise before May 28,2024. I finished with 21K points too! I expected a better offer. However, I won a jackpot for $11,131! That has me smiling but still in shock that I didn't get the princess plus.

  20. There was a special " free drinks while playing in the casino only" nametag on a lanyard in my cabin with a list of all the activities for the VIP (now called Hearts) cruise that I was on in July. Be sure to check your onboard charges EVERY day to make sure you weren't charged for drinks in the casino. Good luck and Have fun!!

  21. On the Royal a few weeks ago(short trip to Vancouver from Seattle), there was a big electronic poker table with a screen on the wall so that if you were standing (only 2 of us were watching!)you could see the action. It had been announced that there was a poker tournament but this is the first time I have seen one of those tables. There were also some slot machines which had been there earlier (at least in July) when i was on for a cruise to Alaska. It was non smoking and there still was a pretty large bar area with some sports on. Maybe the arcade games were just in a temporary section where it used to be cigar smoking. No kids were playing there.
