  1. Following as we are considering booking Equinox once she comes to Port Canaveral.
  2. Watching this thread carefully. We want to book Celebrity Equinox now that she's being moved to Port Canaveral. We are a 4 1/2 hour drive from home to Port C as opposed to 7 1/2 to Fort Lauderdale. We're booked on RCI through December 2024 but will look at 2025 -- however, it looks like Equinox is going to Europe in April 2025.
  3. As long as Pinnacle numbers are below 70, we can use the SL and below 130, we can use CK. I hope we can wait in the SL and then have lunch in CK on Day 1.
  4. I remember that there was a bank of glass elevators on both the port and starboard side on Wonder that went all the way to Deck 17 and 18. we sailed don WN last December. On earlier Oasis class ships, the elevators that went up to 17 were only on the Port Side.
  5. That's what i was hoping to hear. I hope we have a small number like you did (12). Last time on Wonder, the Pinnacle Lounge was set up in the Music Hall. RCI put on a very nice appetizer buffet but it wasn't heavily used. There were 70 Pinnacles on this WN cruise last December. Were you able to use the SL immediately after boarding on embarkation day? I am guessing that we can use CK for lunch as Pinnacles.
  6. Agree -- the prices are high -- this is a family cruise. Kids, grandsons and other grandparents. Reminds me of 2005 when we met you but a smaller group.
  7. Pesky Parrot sounds like it will be an improvement to the Bionic Bar in my opinion although we loved the Champagne Bar. We are sailing on AL B2B after she comes to Port Canaveral so we'll enjoy the Champagne Bar while it's still on the ship.
  8. Thanks -- we're in a JS also but we're traveling with family and will probably eat most dinners in the Main Dining room although we pop up to CK for a dinner. We will probably try to have lunch in CK and see if we can use it the first day. Last WN cruise, there were around 70 Pinnacles so they had a Pinnacle Lunch in a section of the MDR and a Pinnacle Happy Hour in the Music Hall. Summer prices are high and Pinnacles, especially local ones, wait for fall and winter cruises.
  9. How may Pinnacles have sailed on Wonder of the Seas during the last few weeks -- basically the summer weeks? If numbers were low, could P's use the Suite Lounge and Coastal Kitchen?
  10. That's what we did we recently cruised on Indy. Chops was open for lunch so we went straight to that restaurant, booked our dining and the Hostess told us to come back when they opened for lunch. We had a drink at the Windjammer Bar and watched passengers streaming into the Windjammer. Check the App to see what Restaurants are open on Embarkation Day.
  11. Skin Cancer -- Melanoma. Hope it was caught early. Captain Johnny sounded optimistic on his Twitter page. He may have finished his treatment as he and his wife were taking an RV vacation.
  12. Loved Indy -- Sister to Freedom -- we cruised on her at the end of May. We were in a JS but have been in a GS on Freedom. We're Pinnacle so we were able to use the Suite Lounge -- only 9 Pinnacles onboard (there is a cutoff) The fabulous Suite Concierge, Carl Flores, visited Chops where we had breakfast and invited us to the SL. We did Happy Hour and the Continental Breakfast. We also booked Unlimited Dining and really enjoyed it.
  13. Do they have these inforgraphic pages at Guest Services?
  14. That's pretty much what we do but like the idea of writing a note about the great job they have done. We've almost always had great service on RCI.
  15. Is Captain Rob Hempsted still a Wonder Captain or is he going to another ship (Utopia??)
  16. Thanks -- will look for Kenny and Anna when we sail on Wonder later in the summer. Indy -- SL Concierge for our May 29 cruise was Carl Flores -- excellent Concierge.
  17. The GS room diagram on Cruise Mapper looks like the layout for Harmony and Symphony GS. I wonder if the GSs will be the same as those on Wonder or as those on HM and SY.
  18. i think there may be a trolly. We've never been to this port but we could use a trolley also.
  19. Michael Bayley is CEO for Royal Caribbean International (RCI) Jason Liberty is CEO for Royal Caribbean Group (RCG) -- includes Celebrity and Silversea as well as RCI. Michael and his staff at Corporate HQ are pretty responsive. I've always had answers to my emails. That being said, I email when it is an issue that can't be resolved elsewhere.
