  1. Does anyone know if a shuttle is required once you get off the ship in Bilbao? Looking for the easiest way to get to the museum & Old Quarter to do the city on our own. Thank you.

  3. Thank you so much! Did you happen to go to Bilbao, as well? If so, any recommendations? We're looking for pretty much the same thing...no hassles! Just want to walk around on our own.
  4. Perfect! That’s exactly what I’m looking for. Something very simple! Thank you.
  5. Thanks John. I had heard that taxis were no longer allowed to enter the port though. Yes, we were going to do that tour, but that price is ridiculous!
  6. Once the ship docks in Zeebrugge, what is the best (easiest!) way to get into the city of Bruges? We just want to walk around on our own...no tours, etc. I believe there is a shuttle bus from the ship but does that go all the way into town? I don't want to deal with trains...just the easiest way to get there.
  7. The last few cruises we've done on Princess, we've done our own touring. We have a TA coming up in September 2019 and wanted to book an excursion to Stonehenge, but noticed that we now have to pre-pay (something we've never done on other Princess cruises). Has anyone booked a private tour from Portland to Stonehenge? I believe it's pretty easy to do a tour from Southampton, but we're flying into Gatwick since we will be coming in from Seville and it was a non-stop flight. Thank you.
  8. I also just noticed this change on our upcoming cruise on 12/22. We had reservations for 8:15 which are now 7:15. Unfortunately, we are sailing on Pacific Princess so we don't have the option of Anytime Dining. I'd prefer 8:15, but can live with the 7:15 time, but to be honest, we'll probably eat at the buffet or specialty dining more anyhow. However, I have to agree with those that have been moved to a 4:30 or 4:45 time. That just seems way too early for dinner!! I think Princess should have sent out something letting people know and not having to find out when you print your documents.
  9. Thank you for this post. Always wanted to do a cruise over Christmas so we've booked it this year on Pacific. By any chance, do you remember if the shops were open in St. Barthelemy on Christmas Day?
