  1. I agree with Keith. We flew from Rome this August and the line ups were long and slow.
  2. It looks very nice. I am thinking about booking that one also. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Looking for a hotel to stay in the night before boarding in Civitavecchia. Something really close to the port that offers a shuttle would be great. - Thanks Edited: One where you can see the ship in the morning would be a real bonus.
  4. Thanks for the info. I have looked at booking a taxi for 4 plus luggage from airport taxi's, defiantly the cheapest option at 125 euro.
  5. I was wondering if anyone used a taxi for this trip instead of Princess transfers? We will be 4 people with 4 pieces of luggage.
  6. Thank you so much for this very useful information I really appreciate it.
  7. I have done a little googling and have found the answer I think to my own question Deluxe Balcony - balcony - sofa bed - upgraded bathroom amenities - waffle bathrobe - terry cloth towels - upgraded duvet insert - In-room safe - refrigerator - 37 inch flat screen tv with movies - cable and satellite programing - hand-held adjustable massage shower head - hair dryer - fresh fruit - bathroom sundries. IMPORTANT NOTE: Category DV, DW, DZ have obstructed views due to solid steel railings or tops of lifeboats. Category DZ upper deck balconies can only be used while in port. When upper berth or sofa bed is used it will block balcony. Cabin sizes with balcony ranges from 233 to 291 square feet. Category DV is 253 square feet. Category DZ is 263 to 291 square feet including balcony. Category DB, DC, DD, DE, DF, DW are 233 square feet. Category DA is 249 square feet. *Cabin size and layout may differ from size, diagrams and pictures shown.
  8. I am looking at Enchanted for next Aug. If I let Princess choose for me it come up with this. Does it mean that it is only obstructed when the upper birth or sofa is in use? Also would Princess have a plan of the room to let me know if it is a sofa bed or 2 upper births. There is very limited availability for this cruise. Stateroom Number: E620 Type: Deluxe Balcony Obstructed Category: DW Location: Mid-Aft Deck: 8 (Emerald) Bath Type: Shower Connecting Room: N/A Total Size: 222 sq. ft. Special Notes: PART OBSTRUCTED VIEWBALCONY DOOR BLOCKEDWHEN UPPER BERTH OR SOFA BED IN USE
  9. Well I certainly got spun a line that's for sure.
  10. So much for girl power 😅 thanks for the information and 💔😁
  11. I was on the Emerald in August and a crew member told me that Enchanted Princess was going to be known as the ladies ship. It will have a female captain and the majority of officers and crew will be women. Has anyone else heard about this? I'm all about girl power! 😀
  12. Thats a big help - thanks. I was going to buy in UK before we left but its a hassle carrying it, good to know I can get it there and just carry it on board for sundowners on the balcony.
  13. We are flying into Barcelona from the UK via Frankfurt. I wanted o pick up 2 bottles of wine to take on board and thought I had read somewhere that there is a shop prior to embarking where i could get wine if anyone knows the layout I would be grateful for a head ups.
