  1. No.. I meant at Gelato on the rocks.. in Sydney. Loved that place. Loved Sydney. Spent 10 days there. Lots to do and see. Two Sydney theater co plays, like you the art museum and zoo. Manley and Bondi beach. Wine tasting tour. Paddington and paddy markets, fabulous Ramses 2 exhibit at the museum.
  2. Thanks for the review. We are Azamara fans.. but discovered that we were in the same time you were on a land trip. Did a lot of the same things you did. Fun trip. Did you try the hokey poky ice cream?
  3. We did the Ephesus amazing evening and it was not great. Another long bus ride after we had already visited Ephesus that day. Poor restroom situation not near venue. Uncomfortable seats. Getting to the seats on uneven steps was pretty scary. Worse getting out when it was over, very very boring and long concert by a choir. Long bus ride back. Long walk to the boat. Would never go again. It sounded cool.. but it wasn’t in actuality.

  5. The toilet is fine. But it’s a ways from the Odeon. The concert was two hours. About 45 minutes ride plus a 20 minute walk through shops to get back to the ship.
  6. I thought you had to check in in Venice? And Azamara then transfers you to the ship?
  7. I have waited far longer than ten minutes many times!
  8. Just show up with your passport and any documentation you have paid. Its easy. Your name will be on a list.
  9. We love Azamara for all the reasons you might like it, no nickel and diming. Our bill at the end was $100 for a purse I bought on board. Trivia is great and several ( 3 or 4 ) times a day. Onboard entertainment is ok. No fighting for seats there or in deck. The food everywhere is wonderful, minimum priced wines and drinks are just fine. Sure excursions are pricy but you can do on your own with viator. We also love the friendly staff and passengers. The white night party is really fun. And the smaller size and fun ports is fabulous.
  10. I found our azamazing evening long ( a 45 minute drive) and the program long and mostly boring. Uncomfortable seats. Spectacular site but that was all. I would skip in the future. Too “ classical “ for my taste.

    I would never ever do this due to the lack of control! Had a real bad experience a while back.
  12. We were above the cabaret and heard it till ten then it was quiet. Go to the second show!
  13. Just boarded sunday.. they do luggage tags at the pier. No issues with anything on board.. easy preasy! All you need is your pass port and credit card! Your name will be on the list!!
  14. I find it all a little too late. We originally booked b2b cruises for summer 2022. Then I got Covid right two weeks before our first cruise. Canceled our first cruise we thought until we realized they actually cancelled our second cruise” by mistake.” At that point our original cc room was booked. The good news was they upgraded us to a full suite. Then we had issues with the Covid testing protocols. After a totally mild case and a negative test before we left we took two tests the day before we got on the ship because we didn’t get confirmation that the proctored zoom test was allowed. The zoom proctored test was negative for me. The pharmacy test was on the border. Fortunately I had the note from my dr saying I had quarenteened for two weeks. So the pharmacy marked me negative. The ship only looked at the date of the test. And the next day the cruise line cancelled most pre cruise testing. 😬 the trip was fine and we booked our replacement cruise thank goodness including shore excursions. However my husband left his iPad on the ship and it took three months and many phone calls, emails for him to get it back. Our bad for leaving it but still we paid over $300 in shipping FedEx and it still took that long??? Everything looks fine for getting on our replacement cruise.. but we had issues with our cruise getting the replacement credit applied. Hope our cruise is good. It will probably be our last with Azamara!
