Anyone know how 'per room' onboard credit works if one of the two people end up no showing?  Booked cruise with $500 per room onboard credit.  Friend's mother in law is not doing well and my friend may end up last minute not going on the cruise.  I'm finding contradictory information on Carnival's website.  One answer makes it seem like the OBC is per room, no matter how many people and the other answer implies it's per guest 1 and two.  So if my friend ends up not going last minute and I go solo will I get all $500 or will I only get $250?  Anyone know or experience this before.  Cruise is out of Miami next month.  Credit comes from a casino promotion on my VIFP number.  Thanks!

When we had a no show obc was lost, she was guest #2 of 4. It was non transferable

$22 per digital seems really high, but maybe this is the going rate? I really don't want the actual prints either but rather the digital version so I can print when I get home. Is that type of package available?

The $300 pkg is digitals only. But honestly I think it depends on the ship. On the Breeze they gave me both,i had the $300 (15 pix) pkg. But on the Jubilee I purchased the $300 pkg & was gifted the $200 pkg. I was allowed to select 14 digitalis plus the canvas which is a print & 10 prints, including the canvas print. I had to go back to read the description of the packages to understand it

Same here. I purchased a shore excursion on 10/10 and still haven't received the 10% back. In the past, the discount would usually post about 2 days after purchase. I contacted customer support, and they claim it will post after 11/10 when the new cycle starts. I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

i got my credit when the statement closed.  this was back at the beginning of summer.  i thought it was normal so i didn't think nothing of it at the time

Why cant you use cheers day one outta Galveston?? Other cruises can use it day one. Can you use the soda package day one?

My wife has cheers for her only on a casino deal. I wonder if host will comp me and look at my sea pass card?

    bob

TABC law or policy whatever.... other cruise lines written around it by limiting the alcohol used. Carnival doesn't. Yes bubbles does start on day 1.

  5. @Schoifmom I have t-mobile like you. If you do leave for phone off airplane mode & have incoming calls you will be charged if it goes to voicemail. I've had this happen before both while at sea (5.99/min) & in the Bahamas (25 cents/min). The way they explained it to me was because the call was "answered" by voicemail it was billed as a call.  Also most T-Mobile plans work in Canada as they do at home (unlimited or whatever you have). Alaska is US so you should have full service there too. When at sea will be your uncovered roaming

I tried Firefox today from both phone and pc, neither worked. So frustrating. My bank said it's definitely on AARPs side as they don't even see any attempts come through. I'll keep trying.

i had that problem only when using capital one quicksilver card.  No other cards gave me that problem. The browser wasn't the issue.  Its something with AARP.  A case was opened but no resolution.  I finally gave up.  Other cards haven't given me any issues

Is it better to put cash against our 6 year old's sign and sail every day or can I easily adjust her daily limits when linked to a credit card? I'm thinking she'll get a little more $$ to spend on sea days, but I don't want her blowing through her $100 for the week in the arcade in one day. She's 6. Self control is a challenge. lol

It's been a few years since I had to set spending limits. But it used to be an option when you set up spending accounts for anyone under age. I'm glad it was there. My son spent all his allowance within a few minutes at the arcade the 1st time. Now he's the one that restricts me when shopping 🤭

I just signed up for AARP and I can’t seem to find where you can buy the Carnival gift cards. Also, are they digital or mailed to you?

In rewards look for members only gift cards. Carnival always the 1st one that pops up on mine
