    Carnival Victory questions

    Was on Victory in mid October 2013 and Angela Johnson was on her first cruise for her current contract. We were in the piano bar every night at some point, and she is excellent with the crowd. We had a blast!
  2. Updating: Got an assignment today, at 9 days out. Got a D1 balcony, same category I booked, happy with the result.
  3. I booked a D1 balcony guarantee on the Liberty, Nov. 10. Booked at 25 days before sailing, now 14 days out. I still have no assignment, and looking at that sailing, the balconies have all been sold out for days, and as of today, the only suite showing available is a Royal Family Suite. I'm thinking it's highly unlikely that I'd get that, but wondering how long the lag time is between when they take the last available cabins from being available, to assigning the guarantees. Will keep you posted as to what I end up with!
  4. Does anyone know when the formal night is on the Liberty of the Seas 5 day Western Carib. to Belize and Cozumel? Sea days are on days 2 and 5.

    Destiny Questions

    We were on the Destiny in December. No flat screen, no interactive TV, no fridge. Not sure about the casino noise or the kiosk. We were in an aft balcony. The karaoke noise from the deck below was VERY loud. Enjoy your cruise!

    Does Carnival make kids wear wrist bands?

    Destiny in Dec., my one yr. old was given a wristband upon boarding, which he wore the whole cruise. It has the muster station and is color coded. No name or other personally identifiable information. He was too young for Camp Carnival, so he never went there.

    What's this online error message mean?

    Well, the pvp couldn't fix my profile to allow to me to book online.....so no triple points on the credit card. (See my op) I sent a message to tech support, but no help there, either. I did the booking over the phone :mad: since time was of the essence -- snagging an aft balcony. ;) There were some freaky things going on, though. My infant son kept coming up as sixteen years old -- took the pvp 15 minutes to fix it. According to this pvp, I won't EVER be able to book online. Thanks for the tips, though.....I will go in and take another look at my profile and see if anything looks awry.

Trying to book online through Carnival's website, and I'm getting the following message when I click "book now." 5209 : The Consumer exists with this phone number, use given ID or call Carnival to make the booking I am using my past guest no., and tried my dh's as well. Waited an hour tried again. Still the same message. Tried changing my phone #'s to our cell numbers, too. There was an old post addressing the question, but not helpful advice. I know that I can call to book, but I get triple points on my credit card ONLY if I book online through the credit card company's link. Any advice?
