  1. Call Hyatt Place directly as stated above.
  2. Check with Avila or Marriott about day passes or admittance fee. E-mail them.
  3. Check out British Colonial Hilton which is with in walking distance of the ships.
  4. Have you tried the British Colonial Hilton?
  5. Look at the prices of the Hyatt. Location is good if it's the hotel near the port.
  6. The beaches are very nice. Lunch near the beach is good too.
  7. Ardastra Gardens has a good website.
  8. We like to stay at the Radisson as they have a good pool area and one can walk to restaurants. We sign up for the shuttle to the cruise port when we arrive.
  9. Most of the beaches are food included with a charge. One of the excursions we did was to Ardastra Gardens and Zoo. They have a good website.
  10. We like to stay in Port Canaveral the night before. Then we feel relaxed and board early.
  11. 17th street is a good walking area with shops and restaurnats.
  12. At the time it was $5 per person each way. Not a tour. Just a taxi.
  13. In Aruba- we like Palm Beach. Some like Eagle better. In Curacao- we like Blue Bay. Bonaire is for snorkeling.
  14. Hyatt Place on 17th st. is located in a good walking area- walk to shops, restaurants etc. Not far from cruise port.
  15. Thanks for the review and video. Which other islands did you visit?
  16. The Dutch side is fine, but the French side more interesting. Marigot for instance. See websites.
  17. We liked the Melia for the pools and long stretch of coast.
  18. Hi- The restaurant we have been to is Kelsey's- next to the Radisson. It is good, but more of a down home Italian place. Not sure it accepts reservations. There are many good restaurants in the Port Canaveral.
  19. We like the Radisson due to the nice pool area, the fence around the property, and the restaurant next door for dinner. The shuttle has always been good for us.
  20. Have been to all the islands except St. Kitts. In Barbados we liked the island tour because there is so much to see. On St. Thomas we went to Magen's Bay Beach two different times. There are many nice beaches on St. T. In St. Lucia, we did a partial island tour. The Pitons are very popular. Would only go on a ship's excursion here. In St. Martin, we went to Orient Beach. However, it was very wavy that day and not good for water sports. So we decided to go to Marigot the next time.
