  1. You only missed about another 10 lines but whatever. You wear what you want, I'll laugh when I see you, and life moves on.
  2. Nah, guess you don't have to. According to some here you can jut put on your cleanest tighty whities and a pressed wife beater and you'll be just fine for formal night because the dress code doesn't specifically forbid wearing tighty whities with a wife beater.
  3. I could post the dress code again which states shorts are fine for breakfast and lunch, but like the others, you would probably just question the meaning of the word "and" or "but" or whatever so what's the point. The fact is, there is a dress code if you cared enough to look it up on the Royal site instead of spreading false facts.
  4. No, they stopped turning people away and closing the doors after 15 minutes because people that can't follow rules started pulling their tips. When tips are no longer voluntary, then you will see cruise lines start enforcing their rules again.
  5. I don't laugh at people because of what they choose to wear. I laugh at supposed adults that can't follow even the simplest of rules. It's like watching toddlers in adult bodies. Hilarious.
  6. So what you are saying is all passengers need to be treated like 5 year olds instead of being treated like the adults they supposedly are. Got it.
  7. How about you and I both do what Royal says since it's their ship. Done.
  8. Nope. Responded to different posts. Only 1 was a double post by accident. If you don't like the frequency of my posts you can always take it up with the admin.
  9. Where does it say no chain mail dresses? Geez, anyone with a halfway decent understanding of English understands when it says "shorts are welcome at breakfast and lunch" and doesn't say anything else then that means they are NOT welcome at dinner. Do you want to speak with my manager now Karen?
  10. I have already posted it in post #21. Have you read the entire thread or just jumped in in the middle?
  11. How many times do you need for the proof to be posted? It's been posted twice so far, first time by me in post #21.
  12. And here we go with the folks who think the rules are not meant for them. Knowingly violating the dress code and you reply with "I'm not doing anything wrong". I'm sure if someone on Royal did remind you of the rules you'd probably be asking for their manager. 🙄
  13. Just because one gets away with doing something wrong doesn't make it right.
  14. While you may get away with wearing what you want, there is a dress code on Royal. From the Royal website...... https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/generic-onboard-dress-code What is the dress code onboard all ships? When you’re onboard, the right look will vary by venue. But here are a few types of suggested attire you’ll see, grouped by item. Casual: You’re on vacation – relax! Jeans, polos, sundresses and blouses are all the right amount of laid back. Please keep swimwear to the Pool Deck. Shorts are welcomed for breakfast and lunch. Smart Casual: Think of this as a step up from your typical dinner wear. Dress to impress with collared shirts, dresses, skirts and blouses, or pantsuits. Jackets, sports coats and blazers are snazzy and welcomed. Formal: Make it a night out in your best black-tie look – suits and ties, tuxedos, cocktail dresses or evening gowns. There can be 1-3 formal nights during a sailing and is at the ship’s discretion. Formal nights Think of our formal dress code as a night out in your best black-tie look — suits and ties, tuxedos, cocktail dresses or evening gowns are all acceptable options. There can be 1 to 4 formal nights during a sailing and is at the ship’s discretion. Our Chef’s Table dining experience also enforces a formal dress code policy. 3/4/5 night cruises - 1 formal night* 6 and 7 night cruises - 2 formal nights* 8 to 10 night cruises - 2 formal nights* 11 to 14 night cruises - 3 formal nights* 15 + night cruises - 3 or 4 formal nights* *The number of formal nights is at the ship's discretion and can vary by itinerary. Main Dining Room/Specialty Dining Venues Main Dining Room/Specialty Dining Venues Bare feet are not allowed at any time in any venue and tank tops are not permitted in the Main Dining Room or Specialty Dining venues for dinner. Casino Dress Code Shirt and shoes are always required. Cover-ups should be worn over bathing attire
  15. Slacks, collared shirt, tie, nice shoes (loafers to be exact).
  16. Maybe we'll see you onboard. We're doing the March 2023 cruise as well.
  17. For those who have done the 28 night Tahiti cruise that goes to American Samoa, which side of the island is best to see? It seems they have a tour that does the west side of the island or the east side, but not one that covers both. Any thoughts on which would be more picturesque??
  18. For our sailing in a couple of months it's $199 per person.
  19. Does anyone know for the upgraded lunch at CocoCay Beach Club (the lobster, filet, and fish) is it like on the ship where you can have as much as you want or do you just get 1 lobster tail OR 1 steak OR 1 piece of fish? Trying to figure out if it's worth spending the money for the beach club.
  20. Sailing the Epic wasn't the only reason but most likely the straw that broke the camel's back. I have sailed 2 other NCL ships (Sunx3 and POAx1) and was equally unimpressed by them, and the crew in general (though there was one stand out crewmember). And NCL's policies in general. Will never give NCL another dollar.
  21. I concur. It really turned me off to sailing on NCL in general.
