Also, your new thread and the replies you receive may be helpful for other members seeking the same information! 🙂 Regarding ports of call on any ocean cruise itinerary, please feel free to browse our various Ports of Call forums. As mentioned above, the majority of your fellow Critic members that have been to the various ports frequent those forums and provide feedback regarding things such as tours, excursions or transportation in the specific forum for the port. Please post your messages in an appropriate topic so that you'll receive the best possible response. It is very time consuming to move misplaced messages that are in the wrong topics. Anytime you need to start a new thread with an inquiry on any of our various discussion forums, first make sure you are in the correct forum for your thread so it will be on topic. Use the dark blue Start new topic button and word your new thread title in a way to help the members know exactly the information you seek. This greatly helps the members browsing through the thread titles and if they know the information, they will post replies to you. Also, it is best to limit each inquiry message to only one topic such as one cruise line, one ship, one port of call, etc. and of course, on the correct forum where it will be on topic. You will get more replies that way. Be sure to mention important details in your inquiry message such as the cruise line, ship, sail date or port. That sort of detailed information in your inquiry message may help your fellow Cruise Critic members to be able to help you with their replies If you ever need technical help in regard to using the Cruise Critic message board software, go to the Need Help Using the Forums? Check Here! forum. You will see a large amount of "How to..." pinned threads on the forum's first page. Again, browse through the threads in the forum looking for threads of interest. Then use the dark blue Reply to this topic button to post an introductory message about yourself. 8. CruisePlum is NOT a TA and they do NOT book cruises. From their website: If you decide to book a cruise found with their search engine, their site takes you directly to the cruise line site for booking. They are just a search engine such as our very own Cruise Critic Find a Cruise. Please note Cruise Critic Find a Cruise does accept paid advertising from multiple sites. Our partners who list cruise pricing are required to provide prices for cruise only, per person, double occupancy, and are based on specific cabin types and sailing dates and may not be available for all cabin types/sailings. Taxes, fees and port expenses are not included in the price shown. Rates are in USD and valid for US and Canadian residents only. Fuel supplement may apply. When you book with one of our partners, please be sure to check their site for a full disclosure of all applicable fees as required by the U.S. Department of Transportation. For any cruises listed, Cruise Critic does not guarantee any specific rates or prices. In addition, average cruise prices are updated nightly. Furthermore, Cruise Critic makes no guarantees for availability of prices advertised on our site. Listed prices may have blackout dates, qualifications or restrictions. Cruise Critic is not responsible for content on external web sites.
  9. Thank you so very much! However, it is actually not until tomorrow the 12th. Somehow Cruise Critic is a bit early with the information on the bottom of the main board page today. Oh well, that just means I get to celebrate for two days. 😉

  13. As a friendly reminder to all, please note the following portion from the pinned thread toward the top of the first page of this forum titled **DO NOT POST HERE** until you've read the Rules for Posting in the Asia Forum: Post Shore Excursion Shares In ROLL CALLS Posts looking for members to "share" your excursion, or posts mentioning that a few more spaces in a van are available and you should contact so and so, are not allowed here or or on any of the other forums except the ROLL CALL forums. Use the specific ROLL CALL thread for your ship’s sailing date to find others willing to share your shore excursion tour costs. You are targeting the specific group of people who would be most inclined to share since they are already sailing with you. Do not start a new ROLL CALL thread in a ROLL CALL forum with your share request. Use your existing ROLL CALL thread to post your share request. For information about our Roll Calls, please click What is a Roll Call? Everything you Need to Know and How To: Create A New Roll Call. For more information about our famous Roll Calls, please click Roll Calls and Our Policy Regarding Facebook and Roll Calls sections in the Guidelines we all agreed to follow when registering for our free Cruise Critic memberships. Please take your conversations regarding share requests to the Roll Call thread for your cruise. They are not to be posted in threads on this Port of Calls - Asia forum as mentioned above.

In your case, you will want to research each of your ports in their individual forums located here: Ports of Call - Caribbean Browse through the thread titles in the forums for your ports looking for threads of interest. You may find Cruise Critic members have already posted questions and received answers that may be of interest to you. Also, if you post a new thread in the forums, the replies you receive may be helpful for other Cruise Critic members seeking the same information in each of your ports! 🙂 As a friendly reminder, please remember the following portion from the Guidelines we all agreed to follow when registering for our free Cruise Critic memberships: Browse Before You Post Browse a topic first to see if your question has already been asked or answered by someone else. Also, many of the major cruise lines forums have a FAQ (Frequently Asked Question) topic that has been created by our members. Give that a try first. Browsing is your #1 best resource! That sort of detailed information in your inquiry message will help your fellow Cruise Critic members to be able to help you with their replies And please don't forget‼️ After your cruise be sure to submit your review for publication by Cruise Critic. Many cruisers will benefit from your experience! Make YOUR voice heard! Your honest cruise review will influence the year-end Cruise Critic 'Best in Cruise' Awards winners and help others make informed decisions about their next cruise. Please click here: How To: Write & Submit a Member Review I am sincerely sorry this reply is soooo very long, but I really, really hope 🤞 this information will be helpful. After you have booked a cruise, please click What is a Roll Call? Everything you Need to Know and How To: Create A New Roll Call. For more information about our famous Roll Calls, please click the Roll Calls and Our Policy Regarding Facebook and Roll Calls sections in the Guidelines we all agreed to follow when registering for our free Cruise Critic memberships. Important to Note: Some Roll Calls get started very early, others start closer to sailing dates; some are very active; some tend to be a bit more quiet. Regardless of how active a Roll Call is, this is a great opportunity to meet your fellow Cruise Critic members sailing with you. The specific Cruise Critic Roll Call thread for your line, ship and sail date is the ONLY place on the Cruise Critic message boards where you and your fellow Roll Call thread members may post personal ads about sharing private tours, excursions or transportation with each other to 💲ave money. There is a "captive audience" there since you are all sailing together! Your fellow Roll Call thread members may have important information posted in your Roll Call thread. Especially those that may have sailed your line, ship or itinerary before. Also, they may have already posted share requests that may interest you. 🙂 Use the Roll Call Finder Tool at the top of the specific ROLL CALLS forum for your specific cruise line and ship to see if there is an existing Roll Call thread for your specific sail date. However, if a Roll Call thread already exists for your specific cruise line, ship and sail date, click the Roll Call title to open the thread and read through the posts to get to know the other Cruise Critic members sailing with you. Then use the dark blue Reply to this topic button to post an introductory message about yourself.
