  1. Brilliance just moved from Miami and headed to coco cay. Maybe that's good news it's getting ready?
  2. I'm hoping for a royal update soon. They should toss us a bone.
  3. Well this is not looking good for Brilliance. Less than 60 days out and ... crickets
  4. I had the royal suite on navigator of the seas. It was gorgeous. Treated like royalty. It was a once in a lifetime thing for me. Hindsight I wouldn't do it again. It was way too much way over the top. Fantastic but for me I'd go with a grand or owners suite.
  5. To be fair neither has Oasis from NJ and there has been an official test cruise announced for them
  6. Video seemingly confirms 1st sailing beginning September 4th. I wonder if there have insider information or are they just using the same rc schedule everyone else does
  7. I wonder if they will update their web page soon with more test cruises. It still reflects last update June 15th.
  8. I used a cruise mapper and it shows brilliance in Bahamas
  9. I am on brilliance September 18th. I'm starting to lose hope. I wishe they would announce something soon
  10. CDC has lowered its alert level from a 4 to a 3. It's also created new advisory and recommendations for UNVACCINATED passengers. Could this finally be a step in the right direction? Key Information for Cruise Ship Travelers Who Are Not Fully Vaccinated CDC recommends that people who are not fully vaccinated avoid travel on cruise ships, including river cruises, worldwide. Since the virus spreads more easily between people in close quarters aboard ships, the chance of getting COVID-19 on cruise ships is high. It is especially important that people who are not fully vaccinated with an increased risk of severe illness avoid travel on cruise ships, including river cruises. Cruise passengers who are not fully vaccinated are more likely to get COVID-19, which spreads person-to-person, and outbreaks of COVID-19 have been reported on cruise ships. People who decide to go on a cruise should get tested 1–3 days before their trip and 3–5 days after their trip. In addition to testing, passengers who are not fully vaccinated should self-quarantine for 7 days after cruise travel, even if they test negative. If they do not get tested, they should self-quarantine for 10 days after cruise travel.
  11. Do you think them sailing from only the 4 US ports they have now maybe just the ports they are using to test and once the cdc gives clearance and tests becomes no longer needed they will Jumpstart the remainder of the ports
  12. Yes, I saw. I was hoping that maybe they would get test sailings in for them to have them back in operation for September 1st. I don't want another cancelled cruise.
  13. Anyone have a crystal ball or a good guess as to when they think the remainder of the ships/ports will be assigned their test cruises so we can sail with a full fleet? I'm looking at you Bayonne and Tampa.
  14. What about the port in Tampa? I'm scheduled on Brilliance Mid- September. No word on Tampa or Brilliance. Do the tests in the 3 ports scheduled now open up sailing in others without do the tests from each port individually? I was hoping to see Brilliance on the ship test list next.
  15. We were supposed to cruise in April. We filed for our refund April 13th. our future Cruise credit still remains in our accounts and we haven't seen any money. My question is, has anybody seen their refund come through yet? Or is it just a pipe dream?

    Taxi prices

Thank you, I know cost wise it's smarter to do it that way. I was just wondering how much Tim you would actually save taking a cab direct from Port and back. I know if you miss a run by 5 minutes on ferry that could throw you off a bit. Maybe ferry to St George with taxi back up if we miss a run by a few mins.

    Taxi prices

Hiya, we will be docking for only 1 day Friday late April 24th. I know Bermuda has a great public transportation system and it's cheaper than taxis but due to time constraints I'm wondering if it saves more time. How much would it cost for 5 of us to go from Kings wharf to the caves ... And how long would it take? I'd like to be back for 1pm lunch and some shopping before we head back out.
  18. I know that for the price of 99$ per stateroom we get a 50$ spa credit for each person in our room on a port day. My question is, can we use that to access the thermal spa for the port day 8am-10pm? If we can't use the 50$ to purchase a pass can we get the spa service and would that in turn grant us access to the thermal suite the day of the service? Not sure how this will work.
  19. I'm trying to go on a sailing to the Bahamas 2021 with the grandbabies next year. 1 of the kids are going to be born next month. So he will be just a little thing when we'd sail. I can't see paying full price and full deposit price on a toddler, so my question is when is the next sale that would be most beneficial in my situation? I should also note that I will be paying for the whole family (12 of us) and am looking for my best bet.
  20. Hi!!!! I just booked two connecting balcony staterooms on the new encore. My question is is there a door in between that you can go between both rooms without having to use the front doors kind of like a hotel room I've never seen the interiors of the connecting staterooms before
  21. That is amazing, good on Royal for being so quick to offer relief and step up.
  22. Any idea on when we will find out what ship or ships they will be using for their relief efforts? And kudos to all of the cruiselines for stepping up so quickly, I'm sure the 1 mil pledge is just the beginning.
  23. Anyone know what ship or ships they will be using to station in Bahamas as part of relief efforts?
