This is one of the reasons we do consecutive cruises.  You only need to pay airfare and hotel for one.

Agree. We drive to Galveston from Missouri but flights to Florida often are $ 1000.00 or more for the two of us. Add bags, hotel stay, meals, and taxi your close to doubling the cost of cruise fare.

Really think they will move to a point system based on dollars spent. Already happens in the Casino.

We are departing on Voyager from Galveston on Saturday, Feb. 10th, our cabin is Starboard Deck 10. Does anyone know if Deck 10 was affected like Deck 9 with flooding? Are these rooms now 'dried out'? I heard some passengers have been offered FCC or a move...I haven't heard anything from RCCL so I'm 'assuming' our cabin is OK...a bit apprehensive...

Also joining you Feb. 10th. Have not heard from RCCL, so thinking all is fine. Guess we will see. We drive down from Missouri, leave on Thursday.

    GO CHIEFS...

  3. We always stay at the Radisson Hotel by the airport. Free ride to the hotel. Right next to 13 Coins (excellent restaurant). Seattle Express will pick you up at the hotel taking you to the cruise ship. After the cruise will return you to the airport.

I grew up in Seattle. If you stay downtown, be careful after dark.

Let's face it .... Sorrentos is not a pizza anyone would pay for. RCL know that ... their main concern is how much will this effect future bookings. If everyone says you will still sail then be prepared another cut in the 1000 cuts RCL is rolling out and Sorrentos will have a charge. Next will be reservations for a fee for shows, flow rider, bumper cars etc. RCL will keep adding fees until a real push-back happens and bookings fall. They hoodwinked ever one into Specialty Dining by lowering the quality of the MDR.

This is the WOW factor ....Worst On Water.

I have to agree with you on the Main Dining Room. Sailed on Allure last month. Menu on our final night - Royal Hamburger, Chicken Sandwich, and 4 bean Chili.

Have really lowered the standards for food.

We did eat at Chops twice. Food and service were excellent.

That's funny, because *I* missed it, too.  😄  And I haven't seen any discussion of it on here.  I don't know about you, but I LOVE sailing out of NOLA.  It's a great place to visit before and after a cruise, and it's lovely sailing down the river.

We will be right there with you. Like to visit NOLA and back to Grand Cayman.

We used Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Airport. There was a free airport shuttle to the hotel. I called the hotel before booking and was told we could sign up for a shuttle that would transport us to the cruise pier. I don’t remember the cost of the shuttle but it was reasonable. Both the hotel shuttle and the cruise pier shuttle were very timely. We would definitely use this hotel again. Our stay was July 2019.

Agree. I grew up in Seattle. Would not stay downtown. Area has gone down in recent years. Homeless population has exploded. If you do decide to stay downtown be very careful, after dark.

We stayed at the Airport Radisson. 13 Coins restaurant is right next door. Seattle Shuttle will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the pier. They will also be waiting for you upon returning to Seattle and transport you to airport.
