  1. Been wanting to ask this question and this appears to be a good thread. I also have a substantial amount of OBC refund. My TA said "it will just remain in cruise planner." Where will I find it? Under the cancelled reservation No.? The cruise was only cancelled last week so I doubt it has been processed yet but when it is processed I would like to know where on RC's site I can find it.
  2. Killen's in Pearland; I live in Pearland and agree Perry's in Baybrook/Clear Lake is an excellent choice but you are literally just down Telephone Road to Pearland.
  3. Falmouth Royalton White Sands
  4. Muffulettas at maceos downtown; walkable from the strand but off the beaten path, lunch only;
  5. I Both hotels are fine and in good areas
  6. It is an easy walk if you have rolling bags; three blocks to port entrance and then several hundred yards to terminal 2
  7. We were on Enchantment for the fog shortened cruise that departed 1/15/20. Even with missing Progreso and shortening the cruise to 4 days we had a good time. Observations: 1.We are empty nesters but I do not think there are enough activities for teens and pre-teens. For a family I would not choose Enchantment. 2. The exterior condition of the ship didn’t bother us and the interior was in good condition. 3. We didn’t see the RC singers but the headliner and comedians were good. 4. The piano player in Schooners was good but a pp is correct about the walkway separating the singer and the seating area. 5. Solarium was great first and last sea day when it was cool. I looked at the roof and it doesn’t look like it has opened in years so unless they open all the windows it would be brutally hot in Texas summers. 6. Park cafe in solarium really works as opposed to Liberty’s cafe in promenade. 7. We were happy with meals in MDR and one dinner in Chops. 8. All in all prefer Liberty but are looking forward to 7 day Enchantment cruise in Sept. to Coco Cay.
  8. I three card poker table and maybe 5 blackjack tables
  9. The driver asked us when we wanted to go back to the ship. I think we all agreed on 2:30 but it is whenever you and any others in the car agree to be picked up. It was very safe and prompt. I would recommend.
  10. Visited Del Mar last week. We were the ONLY people (2 of us) that had made reservations. Around midmorning another person came in to the club so there were three of us all day. It was a great day and since there were so few of us the service was non stop. We read, enjoyed both shade and sun and enjoyed their pool. Drinks were as strong or as weak as you wanted and the food was very good. We had boiled shrimp, coconut shrimp and nachos. It was all we needed but they kept asking us if we wanted more food. It is owned by the owner of Nachi Cocom and he also owns the Del Mar hotel across the street. I love the convenience of the club from the International Pier and will return our next time in Cozumel. I just hope they can generate enough business to remain open. Don't hesitate to try this place; especially if you are with a group or enjoy solitude!
  11. We leave the 15th of January for 5 days on Enchantment; have been on Liberty four times and love everything about Liberty; will give you our thoughts on Enchantment when we return but here are our anticipations: 1. More pool time and relaxation time 2. A bit less entertainment choices in the evening 3. All of our dinners in MDR since we did not purchase a package as Chops and Chef's Table are only alternative venues 4. Don't know if we will like enclosed solarium 5. Less lines 6. More quiet time We will see if this proves true or false but we are looking forward to sailing Enchantment soon and again in September for 7 days to Bahamas and Coco Cay.
  12. A friend recommended lunch at Berties Creole in Coxen Hole when we visit on LOS. I believe the name has now changed to Port Side Restaurant. He ate there several years ago but advised us it was within walking distance of the port and gave it a good review. Has anyone been recently? Thoughts? We are not doing an excursion in Roatan and thought a late lunch and hanging on the ship would be enjoyable.
  13. I have an existing reservation through a TA with final payment several months away. I did purchase travel insurance at time of booking. The price has dropped approximately 10% today. What is anyone's threshold for cancelling and rebooking? Will I lose the travel insurance premium or can it be transferred to new booking? Is this a valid reason to book with line directly and not use a TA? I stumbled on the price drop-my TA did not inform me of the drop. Any advice welcomed.
