Good morning, still feeling the effects of my double jabs last Thursday, just tiredness though nothing major, odd though as never had any trouble before. Have walked up to the chemist this morning for my prescription & popped into the co op,  managed to pass the chocolate isle which is possibly a miracle 😂. My sister & her dh are in Orlando they’ve just finished a road trip on Harley’s & were meant to be flying tomorrow. She says yesterday their accommodation is on the middle between other concrete floors & they’ve stocked up on chocolate & crisps. Slightly worrying, but I guess he’s used to war zones being ex military. Have a good day everyone, off to make a quiche in a bit.

Good morning, no surprises on the news front…. ! 🥱 we’re off to the IOW tomorrow, staying a week in a caravan at Compton & then I’m staying for an extra couple of weeks to look after my mum, she had her hip replacement on Tuesday in Southampton, all went well hopefully my sister will bring her home later today & she’s on nursing duties for the week. Hopefully Mum will behave 🤣.

Good morning, I thought I’d catch you up with DS’s good news… He got his results yesterday & he achieved a first Honours  degree (bachelor of science in geography)! Massively proud of him, particularly after his starting indecisions (changing courses & then changing back) & big housing issues his second year, not forgetting the tail end of you know what & girl friend woes! The fog has finally cleared now here, fairly warm, but definitely not hot! Just come in from doing some weeding. Today is our 31st Wedding Anniversary so tonight we’re off to a local pub for a meal ( one that’s not showing football! Had enough of that for a bit 😏) 

Connecting train caught no problems, a kind American couple watched my case while I used the platform facility’s. Have a wonderful cruse @Megabear2 I’ll be on Skye when you’re there so hopefully we’ll get a glimps of you! One of dh’s colleagues is on with you. 

Good morning, early start today. I’m on the train feeling quite brave, so long since I’ve been on one, caught the same one as ds after all, gets me to Exeter slightly earlier for the connection to Westbury just in case. It’s going to be a long drive to the highlands over 2 days, glad my sister’s driving & I can look out the window! 😄. Have a great day everyone.

It’s cloudy, but here today, the wind seems to have picked up a bit. I’ve been tidying the garden & planting up some of the pots before I go on my road trip with my mum & 2 sisters tomorrow. Off to Scotland & @Megabear2 I feel your pain regarding packing! I’m trying to take a fairly small wheeled case as I’ve got to change trains at Exeter for Westbury where I meet my sister. Things have gone in & come out & more added, jeans, jumpers, waterproof, wash bag, ton of meds etc 😫. That’s without the decision of which water bottle to put in my backpack & do I just use my phone or take the compact? Far worse than packing for a med cruise.

It’s Walking Week here, with lots of various events.  We’re going on a guided walk of the water meadows this afternoon, followed by pub supper

Good morning! The sun is shining, had to drop the car to the garage, so had a walk already, the dog was pleased to get some different sniffs including Foxy Loxy, managed to avert a smelly disaster . Thank you for all your good wishes yesterday. Now to look forward to my road trip to Skye at the end of the month with my 2 sisters & mum. Have a great day everyone, apparently it’s a bank holiday weekend so enjoy the rain 🤣🤣. 

All clear! In & out quickly not too much dignity lost, except I couldn’t get into the gown 😂. 

Cloudy here too, no thunder though. Off to Truro this afternoon for a cystoscopy (joy) already had an ultra sound all clear kidneys etc, no symptoms, but blood showing in urine when tested,😩. Watched Queen Anne come in on the IW webcams, not quite the same as rushing to Cowes after work like we did for Oriana with my Mum, but still exciting. Have a good day everyone. 

Just catching up, you’ll be pleased to know we have some sun! I’ve packed our bag ready for Bournemouth later, looks like it’s due to be dry for the weekend up there. Looking forward to getting away.

Good morning. The wind has calmed down, but now we fog once again! 😂 plus light rain, lovely! It’s due to be sunny Friday, we’ve decided to take ds back to Bournemouth & have booked a hotel for 2 nights, feeling rather brave 2 nights in hotel. Crazy price for a cheep hotel though, although slightly cheaper than Premier Inn & has parking, ( we’ve stayed before so we know it’s fine). 
I’ve just tackled the Mount Everest of ironing & now I’m catching up on here. 

Good morning, back to rain today & due wind again ( the weather! ….) all weekend 😫. You’ll be pleased to hear I did get out in the garden yesterday afternoon, plenty of pruning done & finally got around to sowing some runner bean seeds. Waiting for the shopping currently had to order extra with ds here, with shrinkflation having to order double on something’s very annoying! I think it’s a knitting & lazy day otherwise.

Just got back from shopping with my friend. Trip to M & S got some t shirts & summer trousers, on to Asda for a quick look around as she says, then back to PZ Sainsburys for the clothes section! Normally one of us suggests coffee, but neither of us did & now I’m exhausted 🥱. Should get out in the garden as the sun’s actually out for 5 minutes. I’ll eat my custard slice first! 🤣

Good morning, happy Good Friday, just had our hot x buns ( not homemade this year, as didn’t seem worth the effort for just 2 of us, eldest ds doesn’t like them & youngest staying on at uni to finish his dissertation…..). Have decorated our led stick tree with hanging eggs  as usual, a traditional started by my mum after visiting my sister living in Germany a few years back.

Well last night was unexpected. We had to rush dinner as ds announced he needed to see someone in pz at 7.30 & could he have a lift as no bus. I didn’t feel like going along for the ride but dh persuaded me to keep him company while ds had his meeting, (he selling Lego kits & bits on line). Anyway we got to Penzance, drew into the car park & there’s youngest ds waiting for us! 😅. The devil  had sneaked down last minute on the train & only told his brother last minute was coming! 😂.
