@purplesea happy anniversary! 💐. You should have been able to see the aurora from there,Penzance is south,so whoever saw them would have to be facing north like you do. Dh & Ds wondered up the hill about 10, but didn’t see them, too early. Hope you get an answer soon, the delay is crazy. X

The sun is shining, but it’s very windy. DH’s birthday today we had Chinese takeaway last night to celebrate as ds goes back to uni today, so won’t be here for a family dinner. I made a cheesecake & experimented using chocolate coated rice crispys for the base, well tasted delicious but pretty impossible to get a spoon or fork into, we did laugh 😂.

Sun is shining although the wind is chilly. Saw an actual asthma nurse this morning, got to take inhaler more often & going to book a chest X-ray, she asked me had I had one recently, haven’t had one since I was about 5!!! Also got to have a 12 hr blood pressure monitor as it shot up again when she took it. One of the local artists has 4 cows as pets,( as you do!) one has calved in the past couple of days.

Just glanced out the window & spotted a rat 😱 luckily the dog was asleep! Funny one today dh has gone off on work training ( new lathe thingy) over night only in Devon, but feels a bit strange. Now what time shall we start the party, byo booze, have peanuts no twiglets.

@purplesea sorry to hear your news, hopefully the radiotherapy will do the job. Meanwhile enjoy your coffee & cake, blowing a kiss & hug to you up the coast.xxx

Cornish snack/ packed lunch: crouse, visitors are Emmets, cauliflower is a broccoli & a swede is a turnip 🧐. Isle of Wight is nammit for lunch, visitors are Grockles, a big thing is gurt , men & boys are all nips or nippers. 🤣

After yesterday’s lovely bit of sun, today is mucky drizzle. Just used some time wisely (or not?) and the cleaned the bathroom & loo, how exciting is that? 😂 Hope all those on or off on trips have a wonderful time. X Clare

Hope everyone’s had a good day? Saw dr today & have been prescribed a new inhaler, so we’ll see how that goes. Today is 20 years since my dad died, so been thinking of him today, luckily it’s been a lovely sunny day.

Pretty mizzely here, took the dog for a bit of a walk. Really struggling still with breathing since having you know what, huffed & puffed up the hill. Went for asthma review on Wed managed to get a face to face, but when I got there the lovely nurse announced she wasn’t the asthma nurse, she wasn’t in. I’d already had my appointment changed from Friday as apparently the said nurse didn’t work Fridays anymore. Hey Ho, we went through the same online form I’d already filled out, & I told her I’d not been well & was struggling still. Well she said her colleague would have to look at the results & let me know about changing meds or whatever. She did my weight( fine) , took me to another room to do height! Remembered bp, no pressure on the valve 🤔 well she used the battery one instead by then my reading was sky high. She put the valve on properly on the original one & tried the other arm, down a bit but too high, so now I’ve got to test twice a day at home for home for a week, borrowed a machine from a neighbour, it’s on its way back down😬. Hey Ho I’ll struggle on. Sorry for the ramble! Have a good weekend everyone. X Clare
