  1. I got mine also. I will say it is slightly less deceptive than the original press release. But they are still trying to make it sound like charging us for stuff we thought was free when we booked is somehow a benefit to us. That kind of nonsense makes me more angry than the actual charges themselves.
  2. Do we have any indication that anyone at Princess is paying any attention to this thread or the earlier one? Or are we just venting to each other? Also, has anyone with an upcoming cruise gotten any communication from Princess saying you're not getting what you thought you were getting when you booked?
  3. I cannot speak to chaos. I can speak of my own experience. On my last Princess Cruise (Oct. 2022) the one time I ordered a drink using the app it took >1 hour to be delivered. The one time we ordered room service it took >2 hours. If that is the kind of performance I can expect, why would I pay for for those services?
  4. I might agree that the changes themselves are fairly minor, what really bothers me is the retroactive way it is being implemented. Going forward, if I book another future cruise, how can I know that what I will get is what I thought I was getting when I booked? How can I be sure Princess will not institute another "upgrade", say to give Plus Package people two "free" shows in the theater at night, and additional ones are now $20? Can anybody be sure such a change, or something else, won't suddenly, with no warning, be imposed? My trust in Princess is way down.
  5. Has anyone who booked a cruise before this change been contacted directly by Princess? To tell us that we now get less than what we thought we were getting, or we have to pay more to get what we thought we were getting? The retroactive change is bad enough but to not have the decency to inform us personally adds insult to injury.
