  1. I'm now wondering if we should take the train to Florence region and stay near Sienna then fly out of rome. So many choices, so little time
  2. thank you for the photos and reviews. It such a hard decision dealing with 20 something year olds and having been on a cruise with lots of museum and church visits I just can't decide what to do. Everyone's thoughts and reviews are appreciated.
  3. I've been doing research on a 3 day post cruise on the outside of Venice and came across alot of reviews of going to the Prosecco Region. You can take the train and then have a tour guide pick you up and drive your around the vineyards. I know it's not Verona but it looked interesting.
  4. Looking for recommendations for a 3 day stay post cruise out of Venice first week of May. Initially thinking prosecco region but was also looking at Lake Garda or Verona. Traveling with husband and mid 20 year old kids. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  6. Thanks for everyones insights. After hearing about the cigarette smoke and loads of passengers we went with Celebrity. It will be the first cruise for the Constellation coming out of dry dock and we were able to get great perks so felt like it was a better deal considering the amount of money we are spending. Can't wait to sail!
  7. We will be in port on June 2 from 7 am to 4 pm and it appears that we will be the only ship that day. Our family would like to in no particular order, walk the wall, have a wonderful lunch, explore the town and if possible go to a beach with beautiful water for an hour or two. Any suggestions?
  8. I can't thank everyone for all your insight. Itinerary and food are the most important to us, entertainment not so much. I will continue to research and look forward to reading more reviews in the coming weeks. PS: These message boards are a real treasure!
  9. We recently sailed Equinox and loved it so we are now planning a Greek/ med cruise for June 2020 with our kids n their 20s. Itinerary is important and noticed Norwegian getaway offers, Greece, Croatia and Italy . We prefer Celebrity but wanted to get thoughts from those who may have sailed both.
  10. I know that Viking River Cruises require payment in full 30 days after making your deposit. Not sure if that applies to ocean cruises also. Just a FYI
  11. We also just returned from this cruise. We are in our mid 50's and havent been on Celebrity in 20 years due to cruising with our kids on RCCL and Princess. I thought the service was outstanding. We upgraded to Aqua Class and I'm not sure I can go back and not be in Aqua. I thought the entertainment and especially the silent disco etc was much better than Princess. As the original poster stated there was a wide range of ages and people from all over the world. I didn't see alot of children except for very young ones, I think families with older kids tend to go on RCCL and Disney. We are looking into the Med with our kids on Celebrity however, would like to try Celebrity again with adult friends or even try Oceania. Hope everyone has a wonderful future cruise on Equinox.
  12. We will be sailing Aqua Class on Equinox Eastern in March and received complimentary specialty dining for 2 nights. Was wondering what nights are the best to go speciality dining, preferably Murano and Tuscan. Or are there nights not to be missed in the Blu?
