  2. Thank you marazul that gives me some idea and what I can relate too.
  3. Thank you to all, but if anyone can give me some idea about the heat. Did it stop you doing things going places due to the heat?
  4. I will check them out thank you and great tip about the clock, as I suffer with jetlag when travelling. Has any one done this trip in July?
  5. Hi we have booked a Seabourn cruise in July next year and I am in need of assistance with hotel accommodation for two nights pre cruise. We would like somewhere not to far away from the port but close to walk around the sights . Has anyone got any ideas please. I do like a 4 star boutique style . Also has anyone been on a cruise around the Med. at that time is it really to hot to enjoy? We come from Australia so we can handle fair amount of heat. Can it be overbearing? Thank you for your ideas.
  6. If he rings Seabourn direct they will transfer his booking to his account .
  7. Hi we have been looking at the same thing but more interested in the Italy across to Casablanca . I have done 11 days on Seabourn without a problem and I am not one for Sea days I like to be out and about. The one we are looking at has only one or two sea days which suites us. I am looking at putting a deposit down as the prices are cheaper that's what's on offer now. I know they need the money and I would say this is way they are offering at those prices.
  8. Hi There is only one formal night on a 7 day cruise , usually it is a sea day. You can pay for the shore excursions then when on board transfer your OBC over . Enjoy your trip.
  9. I booked for a September cruise without a problem, good luck if not ring Seabourn I find them great to deal with.
  10. Hello , we have been on two Seabourn cruises and have never had the off putting experiences that you are worried about. We have always found the people to be friendly and not up them selves to put it bluntly. Once Covid is under control we will be booking again. You may come across a couple of people that you may not want to take up with but not often at all. Regarding dress code Seabourn is much more relaxed. The only time that a jacket and tie is requires is formal night in the main lounge but if that is not you you can get in one of the other dinner places. The crew are great friendly and very helpful . The veranda suit is not small the size is on the web to do a corparison with.
  11. Hi sorry you had to deal with this issue first time on Seabourn. The way it works as far as I am aware is you either keep your first deal with the 25% deposit with the WIFI or cancel and and only pay five hundred deposit. It depends on which you are more comfortable with.
  12. Just let me know and I wll arrange it
  13. Hi to you both i just wanted to let you know that if you get a first time referral you get $250 ship board credit. The person that refers you also gets the credit next time they cruise. Enjoy Karen
  14. Thank you all We were planning to travel in May but my Boss has informed that he will be away for May, Sept and Oct next year and I cannot be away when he is. So we are very limited on when we can go. I have never been on the larger ships and I must admit I am very apprehensive about it. The one we are looking at is Malta to Italy including Casablanca , so we are not going to Venice side at all.
  15. Hi We are looking at doing a Med cruise in June next year if anyone has done one at that time would you please advise us if you found the weather to hot and ports to crowded . Appreciate any advise before we book.
  16. Hi All I have just hang up from Seabourn and it is on our existing booking as well up until July 1 as new booking

  18. That is a great outcome and hopefully others will receive the same.
  19. We are booked on 29 April for a 17 day Med cruise and we are doing the wait and see , our flights to Italy have been cancelled but I am not going to rebook until we find out what Seabourn are doing and if there are port changes.
  20. Hi I do not know if this helps you or not but I have just been speaking to Seabourn regarding our cruise and they told me that everyone has the twelve months option.
