  1. I was on Adventure last month and didn't notice anything (not saying you aren't). I wonder what changed?
  2. I have one in my hand within 90 seconds of getting on board 😉
  3. I think the ultimate version would be what they are doing this year. 12 day TA at the end of April on Anthem to Southampton, a 2day short cruise to Paris to get the ship on the right schedule and then the 7 day Norwegian fjord cruise to wrap it up. I'd spend a few days in London afterwards as well. I know that won't happen with the current redeployments and the change to cruising in Norway... We'll see how it all unfolds.
  4. I wish... 🙂 What the plan is is to do the EB TA and then make it a B2B and stay on for at least one more cruise. I'd do two more if it possible but I'm not sure if I can swing that. I've done a good number of Caribbean and have quite few more already on the books. The EB TA allows some new itineraries on the subsequent cruises that wouldn't be possible if came WB Also, timing is one of the reasons too. My 60th b-day is February and by the end of April I'd like to be sliding into semi-retirement.
  5. I'd love to do one but the plan for my first TA is April/May 2026. I'm eagerly awaiting their deployment next year. If I could have gotten an east bound TA that did the arctic that would have been amazing 🙂.
  6. No, it's not a benefit anymore... You get special times for the flowrider and Rockwall and the public ice skating but not to bypass the lines during regular times.
  7. It is not included or charged separately. If you want to tip you can do so with cash or if they give you a receipt (hit and miss with the receipts). I generally cough up $2. Others might do more or less.
  8. For the main theatre the reserved seating is mostly redundant. There is lots of great seating available for almost every show. The ice shows often fill up but the main there is usually anywhere from 2/3 to 1/3 empty.
  9. Navigator is a great ship! I've sailed her several time as well as other voyager and freedom class ships. Navigator is the best. I hope she stays a long time. Quantum is now coming and you'll not likely ever see an Oasis class ship. I'd way we have all we could hope to have here. What would you replace her with!
  10. Three Alaskan cruises and never seen a blanket in my room for that purpose... I saw people wrapped up in them up on the deck but never bothered to find out where they came from.
  11. eleven people were shot in Atlanta in the last 24 hourst. I'm not worried about Jamaica.
  12. All depends on the fee. If you are going to enjoy a relaxing beach day it's going to cost you something... Folks are paying for Nachi Cocom and Mr Santos, why not a Royal Caribbean one that offers what those offer but allows you to take advantage of your drink package or loyalty perks. Sounds like a winning offer to me.
  13. Yes, order the refreshment package. They can order frappes at Cafe Promenade as well as any other non alcoholic beverage they desire.
  14. I mis spoke, I meant to say I hadn’t been on Allure. I’ve been on Oasis. 🤪
  15. Ditto... we used them after our Adventure sailing in February. Excellent communication and affordable prices.
  16. I've never seen a price that dropped lower than the group rate I got except once. Just after the retart, I think, Royal added Quantum to Seattle doing Alaska. This was a change that redeployed Quantum from the Asian market. We were already booked on Ovation with a pretty good price through our TA's group space. When the Quantum itineraries dropped, of course that increased supply and lowered the price of all Alaska cruises out of Seattle. Before I even realized there had been a drop my TA emailed me letting me know that there was a drop in the group rate we had already secured. That is the only price reduction I have gotten on group space.
  17. I haven't been on Oasis yet... That is one I'd like to try. I hope they don't kill Samba grill when she goes in to dry dock... 🤞
  18. If I was honest that's really all I'm checking for now too.
  19. I actually never expect any reductions. Almost all of my cruises are booked when the itineraries are released. I almost always book group rates through my TA so I'm already starting at a reduced price. The only time I have gotten a reduction in the last year has been on a cruise in 2025 that I booked a GS on and it dropped a tiny bit. I used to check religiously now, if I have time, I'll go through them once a month. When you book right you don't really have to worry about price drops.
  20. That was the same for us... Once we discovered SB I don't think I've been back to WJ for breakfast since. My last cruise on Adventure, which we really enjoyed, my wife commented she really missed SB.
  21. I just checked all 9 of my upcoming cruises... No reductions. 😞.
  22. I was a smoker years ago. Now I hate it. I'll tolerate it in the casino and would never make any comments but if someone thinks they're going to do it on their balcony near mine I will be making a phone call.
