The only real difference I noticed sailing from Singapore was a mini buffet setup in the casino 🤷♂️
Also I guess maybe be warned if you're sailing includes Kuala Lumpur, the city is a couple of -hours- from the port and you'll have limited time in the city.

I always try to arrive the closest I can to when rooms are typically opened so I can just go straight to my room and unpack / setup. After that I normally go head off to get lunch and start wandering the ship

How odd, I'm on the sailing that ends on the 5th (leaving the Nov.24) and when checking in jusy grabbed a 1pm since that's the time the Brightline gets into Miami

Everything that made Coco Cay special has been destroyed in the process. For example, the nature trail that traversed the island was fascinating, and now it is gone.
Yeah, I hate that the CC trail got cut by over half. My first visit there we took it to the old observation tower lookout and continued down the trail alllllllllll the way to the far end of the island where all the cool rock formations were, now you can’t get anywhere near that stuff. 😞

We've got 4 so far for 2025, two shorties and then a nice B2B. Nothing for 2026, yet. But, we have a Thanksgiving Cruise in just over a month and will probably book something for 2026 during that 😬

When on RC I definitely always do the ice rink and Rockwall

This canceled Voyager sailing was the second leg of our b2b, I believe we're gonna stay on it and ride with the Rome - Barcelona option. Bummed about missing in Croatia and Montenegro but at least we had an option that still worked with our time frame

For me I guess its only Canaveral, Tampa, Port Everglades, Singapore, Copenhagen, Vancouver, and Seward....but I'll add Miami in a month or so.

I'm a vegetarian... a few years ago on Mariner I ate there with non vegetarians... pretty much, I had a few sides and then I wandered over to the Wind Jammer 🤷♂️

I've never used a travel agent when looking at / booking a cruise. I've always just done it directly through the website or while I'm on the ship itself. I've never used a TA for any of my travels, even land based

Aw, leave Tampa alone! It's way easier to deal with than Canaveral! We'll be leaving from there in January for the 6th(?) time

I only did because I'm from Massachusetts, ha

Closest land is once again, Nantucket, RI.

Add me to the.... I wish I had done a few more post covid restart. Even if it was just one extra 5 day... It would have moved me way further up in the RC program, I'd have been Diamon Plus for my B2B next year where as now I'll be hitting D+ mid-sailing and wont get the benefits, that would have been helpful on a 14 day cruise (like free laundry... and the extra day of free wifi)
I also wish maybe on my first couple I had done a third party excursion and not have been super worried about being left behind in port.
And maybe, maybe, I regret not using the free room service for food back when it was still free. Looking back on when I only used it 2 o 3 times and now I wish I could order some cookies or a snack to the room without it being $8 for some reason,

We don't go crazy but I do like to do a magnet or photo + magnet
We used to always bring a dry erase thing but now with in-app texting (RC) we don't, but it was always funny coming back to see if someone had drawn on it or whatever.

wonder if it'll be better than Puerto Plata?
Probably not… at least not for a while? I Really liked PP, probably second favorite port area after Costa Maya as far as immediate port area go. Lots to do even if you don’t leave // go on an excursion
