  1. No - they just said this when I asked about the shuttle time: Unfortunately this was a directive from the Cape Canaveral Port Authority to all hotel shuttles as they will no longer be allowing and shuttles into the port before 12 noon for any transportation services. If you would like to cancel your reservation without penalty we can assist you in doing so.
  2. We are at the Four Points Cocoa Beach I think we might just take an UBER. I don't want to wait til noon.....
  3. Has anyone heard of this? I just called about our Sept. 3 cruise and the hotel said the first shuttle to the Mardi Gras is at noon per the port authority. Has anyone heard this before? We sailed in April and our hotel then (a different one) had a shuttle leave around 10:00. We have a 10:00 check in so obviously I want to go earlier than noon.
  4. I agree - I have sailed on MG twice and both times the seats in the sun remained mostly empty. The shaded seats were the most popular. I had a basal cell on my face so I try to stay out of the sun as much as I can - we get up earlier than we would prefer to in order to get a shady spot.
  5. I got covid on my April Mardi Gras cruise - I mentioned it on my survey but no one has followed up on that and I don't expect them to
  6. I'll be honest - getting to work from home all week with my dog and having time to do all my vacay laundry has not been a bad thing. I am mostly recovered and my 17 year old son and Mom didn't get it thank goodness! I heard a LOT of coughing while on the ship. I started with a tickle in my throat on Thursday but thought it was allergies after doing the ATV's in the jungle of Roatan.
  7. Some from my April 16 Mardi Gras group have tested positive after cruise - me included - I would say about a dozen have reported positive tests. But that's just my facebook group. Very few were wearing masks and people crowded into the elevators. I should have worn a mask but didn't. Luckily I got a mild case.
