  1. Are my days numbered then?..... I had 2 x 7 days B2B Med cruises booked on Apex (16 months ago), and they emailed me (on separate emails) to advise they had transferred each cruise (separately) to the new Athens/Greek Islands and Athens/Jerusalem cruise automatically. On my cruise planner they are showing as a headline that they are the new Greek ones as individual cruises (although the itinerary below still shows the old Med ports of call) and I cannot go in to book any tours or dining options as yet, as it says error on the web page. Will they at some point write to m
  2. Does anyone know at what capacity X are booking these cruises at? We have a cabin booked, so just wondered how busy it might feel? I appreciate they have to weigh up income/cost with safety and transmission. Thanks.
  3. Hi We originally had a 2 x 7 days Med cruise booked on the Apex end of July and they have shifted it automatically to the new Greek/Israel ones which are fine. I have been looking at my planner to book tours, meals and other bits, but it either says the web site is down, or displays a grey page, with empty headings (Manage your Vacation, Explore your Itinerary etc), but nothing else on it. The main cruise booking page shows the correct headline destination cruise information, but the itinerary below still shows the old Med details. When I click on Manage your Booking, o
  4. We had a B2B booked on Apex for 24 and 31 July for 2 x Med cruises. We got an email saying they had automatically shifted both our bookings, cabin and package to the 2 new Greek/Israeli cruises. Checking these new cruises they were approx. £500 / $675 more expensive, but it doesn't look like we are being charged any more.
  5. I had 2 B2B on the Apex around Italy, France and the Med starting 24 July. Just had confirmation on Thursday they have cancelled those and transferred the itineraries over for same dates and cabin to the Greek Island cruise, B2B, starting from Athens, and the next week a similar itinerary but also 2 ports in Israel. Some details on my planner, but a bit mixed up with old/new details and I cannot book anything as yet, re trips etc, but at least I know what is happening. I am guessing come Tuesday, the planner will be updated and we can book tours etc. Didnt have to do anything, all
  6. Just posted this on another thread: I had 2 B2B on the Apex around Italy, France and the Med starting 24 July. Just had confirmation yesterday they have cancelled those and transferred the itineraries over for same dates and cabin to a Greek Island cruise, B2B, starting from Athens, then Cyprus, Rhodes and a few Greek Islands. The next week a similar itinerary but also 2 ports in Israel which will be interesting. I will miss my Med ports of call, but equally our cruise on the Apex is all go, plus I get to see Israel (where I wouldn't normally go), and some lovely Greek

  8. Thanks - from the UK, we usually get a poorer deal! Although on this occasion it worked out well.
  9. Thanks for that, but I definitely remember upgrading to the Premium package (now you mention the name, I was just too lazy to Google it and find out!). Our deal (from the UK) just included the Standard drinks package. The butler seemed to indicate it wouldn't normally include the minibar, but since I was on the Premium package, he might as well let it ride (or words to that effect). I wasn't sure if he was doing us a favour, or if it was just like that anyhow. It turns out then, that he was helping us out! Thanks.
  10. Earlier this year (happy days....) we did a Caribbean cruise on a Sky Suite with the enhanced beverage package (we paid the $10 pppd) and we were told by our butler that the drinks in the minibar would be covered by that (not huge selection, but welcome nevertheless - Beer, water, soda, small selection of spirits etc). Is this standard across the X ships, as we have a B2B on Apex next July in the same room with the higher drinks package included this time? Thanks.
  11. Yes same. We have had aft balconies, both as a suite and regular cabin, and they are usually much bigger than a standard cabin, plus you are away from the main noise and traffic of the ship. The only downside is the noise of the engines sometimes early morning on a port intensive holiday. Usually you are awake or up, but sometimes if you fancy a lie in, the noise can be a bit frustrating. Weighing it up though, we still book them time and time again!
  12. Cruise on the Enchanted July 1st, cancelled in the previous wave of cancellations. Got my first lot of refunds 3 days ago, and my second lot yesterday, all to my bank account direct, not my credit card. Odd, but I am pleased at last to have all my money. Plus they gave me Out Of Pocket expenses for a cancelled flight which was not their fault, that I had paid separately for. Cant fault them for that!
  13. Hi, from the lovely Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos. Lovely.
  14. Just amazing. I love sunsets and have many gorgeous ones, but I wouldn't to bore everyone else!
  15. First 2 Caribbean, then Cabo in Mexico and last 2 Alaska, Tracy Arm Fjord and a sunset at 10.30pm!
