  1. Get an accessible cabin. even if you can get it in a regular cabin, maneuvering it inside is difficult and it will take up almost all of the available floor space.
  2. I didn't know that. That's great! I have traditional seating, and there are a couple of dishes from other restaurants that I would love to try. If I can have them without having to book into a different restaurant I will be thrilled.
  3. Did you notice if any any of these buses were wheelchair accessible?
  4. Here is the art book. You may have to download it and then attach it in your roll call post EdgeArtBook.pdf
  5. What about first time X cruisers, can they also call captains club?
  6. It still could happen, but calling the Captains Club may be your best bet.
  7. How far off is your sailing? I had late dining and requested early waitlist. It only took a couple of weeks before I was scheduled for 6. But That was before final payment date.
  8. Do they have hypo allergenic pillows as an alternative? I am allergic to feathers and can't use a down pillow.
  9. I would love this! and I'm glad to see so many others who would as well. I hope it serves to be popular enough to continue and expand to all the ships.
  10. It wouldn't bother me if they don't. I know a lot of people love lobster. I've had lobster in Maine and it's pretty good, but I'm from South Louisiana and I much prefer crawfish. Now if they had a crawfish boil, I'd be all in dat.
  11. We have early seating for dinner. It’s been a while since I cruised with an assigned time. When is a good time to get to the dining room? I’m in a wheelchair, so it can take me a little longer to get in place and it can be difficult to maneuver if there are a lot of people moving around. I was thinking of getting there early, but I’m not sure when the dining room opens.
  12. If I could figure out a way to pack my book reading pillow for air travel I would bring it. Stacking regular pillows is just not the same.
  13. If you try an accessible cabin, you may find that the pluses outweigh the minuses. I haven't been on the Constellation yet, but I have had accessible cabins on other cruise lines (since I use a wheelchair), and they are very nice.
  14. Your biggest problem may be getting a scooter through the door in a regular cabin. The doors in an accessible cabin are wider. I suggest you call the access office and ask them. Have the measurements of your scooter ready. But your best option is going to be an accessible cabin. A scooter would take up a lot of space in a regular cabin even if you can get it through the door.
  15. Thanks everybody. My TA did get back to me with an apology and explanation, and is addressing my requests. So I’m going to give her another try.
  16. We just booked an accessible aft cabin for the Southern Caribbean Jan 4. First time in an aft cabin.
  17. Thanks for posting this. I'm excited about cruising out of Tampa. My niece lives in the area and we will be able to visit with her and her family pre or post cruise. A great two-fer vacation.
  18. that's an idea, thanks. Do you live in NOLA? I'm in Covington.
  19. The Service team is not for customers of TAs, but for the TAs to contact. If a customers booked with a TA, the TA has to contact Celebrity with changes etc. and they work with a Service Team that is specifically for TAs.
  20. I did, but her first response was to say that she would suggest better options for accessibility. She is familiar with the area and knows the hotels, etc better than I do.
  21. Thanks, I am looking for another, but I prefer an agent with experience assisting mobility impaired customers and those are not easy to find. And that's the reason why I want an agent to handle hotels, etc. It's not easy getting good accessible accommodations and transportation. And in the meantime, she has our booking and so I'm stuck with her.
  22. I avoid using the phone because I don't hear well, but I may have to call her. She is an independent agent and runs her own business.
  23. This is the first time I've used a Travel Agent and I don't know if I am expecting too much or not. She appears to be very knowledgeable, but she is very slow to answer emails. I want to get my hotel reservations made now and I first asked her to do this over 2 weeks ago. A week ago she responded with a question about it and I immediately answered. Since then nothing. I realize I've got several months before I cruise, but I want to get all the arrangements squared away now. Am I expecting too much?
  24. Maybe you could call to do this. It maybe that a live rep can take care of it for you.
