Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. There is no way it will take till September to get ships back to Baltimore. The shipping port is way too important. I think it will take less than a month to get a shipping lane open. Rebuilding the is another story,
  2. MSC uses Brooklyn every Sunday so that would rule that out. Manhattan looks like the best option outside of Norfolk. I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel the next couple of sailings on the Legend and send it to dry dock early. That would give them a few weeks to figure out what to do with the Pride when it returns.
  3. I prefer the Magic and it's itinerary. The nice thing about the itinerary is you don't have to spend any money on excursions if you don't want to. All three ports have free options right off the ship.
  4. 2273 is our go to on the dream class ships. It is the first Cove from the front, and it is under guest services. We have never had a problem with noise.
  5. We just got off the Magic 2 weeks ago and didn't have any issues.
  6. I have celiac and just got off the Magic this past weekend. We had YTD and had no issues. Each night our waiter would let me submit my order for both breakfast and dinner the next day. When I sit down at the table, I would tell the waiter about my celiac. They will pull the order and confirm it with me. They would bring gluten free bread if asked. I could pretty much order anything off the menu and they would tweak it to make it gluten free. Desert wise I pretty much stuck to the melting cake each night, although one night I did have the Creme Brulle. They did have different gluten free cake options on the lunch buffet. They would cut a fresh piece with a clean knife when I asked. I also had ice cream out of the machine without issue. This was my first Carnival Cruise after being diagnosed and it was such a good experience, we booked another cruise the day we got off. Let me know if you have any questions.
