  1. Oh well. Hopefully the movies don't go real late. We upgraded because we love Blu and the price we paid was higher than the Aqua. We also got an extra perk. No balconies on 9. I personally loved the larger overhang on 9. Heck we are going to Alaska so all will be good. We will just have to stay out at the Martini Bar.
  2. Sorry if this is discussed before but I'm obviously not using the search correctly. We just upgraded to an A1 on Deck 11. I've never been in these cabins. Is there any covering at all on the balcony? How is the noise level? Are they more windy? Thanks again.
  3. We recently had to cancel a cruise with the 100% penalty phase do to illness. Since we paid for the whole price of the cruise I feel we should get the points for the cruise. If anyone else had to do this, what did Celebrity tell you about the points
  4. How was embarkation? Any issues with staying the night before in a hotel and getting to the port?
  5. We are trying to decide if we should go out of San Juan. I am in charge of finding a cruise for our friends for next year. I like the choices of islands out of San Juan. We are getting tired of the St. Maarten, St. Thomas itinerary and have done Western to death. We want to see some new areas. I was reading some reviews of both Celebrity and Royal cruises. The Royal reviews frequently mentions long line at embarkation and also rude passenger( cutting in lines- not following the rules or just not making nice) I haven't seen any mention of this in The Summit reviews. I've been to San Juan on other cruises and love it but we've never embarked here. How would you describe your cruise experiences out of San Juan? Heck Im from the NY Metro area so Im not shrinking violet myself.
  6. We were in a Sky Suite on the Summit and were invited to the sail away past the Statue of Liberty. The Michael’s Club hostess met us in the Theater and we had to give our cabin number. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  7. Thank you for doing this. This was a guarantee that they already assigned. Looks like a great cabin. We should have a fun cruise, but we always do[emoji3]. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  8. Hi there VTCruising. I’ve been trying to figure out where 9218 is but I’m not having much success. Maybe you could help. We are part of PatCs big group but on a different deck. Terry Sent from my iPad using Forums
  9. Thanks, that’s what I thought. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  10. We want to book Alaska for July 2019. Does anyone know when Holland has their promotion with the free beverage package? Sent from my iPad using Forums
  11. Planning a trip to Alaska next July, which ship would you choose? Both cruises are basically the same.

    Hilo Tour Choice

I too would like to recommend Island Wide Family Tours. We used them for our recent Solstice cruise for both Kona and Hilo. We actually had two groups, one went with Kyle and we went with Kea. They were terrific Tours. We changed some things on our Kona tour, skipped the bees and went to a brewery[emoji6]. Our Hilo tour became the most memorable since we were at Volcano National Park when the crater lake erupted and we had several earthquakes the largest being 6.9. Kyle and Kea kept in constant contact to keep us safe but to give us the best day we could have imagined. I would definitely choose Island on any future trips. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  13. We are looking at booking an SS class of suite on an Alaska cruise. What perks come with booking a suite? We usually sail Celebrity and they have Michael’s ClubandLuminae. Anything like this on HAL? Sent from my iPad using Forums
