  1. Glad to hear you had a good time, and can understand the hectic part - we love WDW and are looking forward to our first cruise upcoming but I never think of it as exactly 'relaxing' because our kids, too, are energetic about it! Quick question - what was the show on the second night? I heard that Hercules is gone but that an interim show is playing until Toy Story comes out in April. Tell me it ain't so!! I was so looking forward to one of the two :( If it is something different, did you go and was it good? When you only have a few days on board, you want to make the right decisions... Thanks! Spencerfam PS - We can't wait to see Max! My kids love the two Goofy movies...you should check them out when your DD is a bit older.
  2. Thank you, everyone, for your excellent suggestions. I am checking into all your thoughts, from the braiding here at home to Atlantis! I am glad to know that they do braiding on the ship as our other option, and it sounds like the float/banana boat would be fun for the kids - I'm glad to know about the trikes too, as my kids get frustrated on the easy side. We'll opt for something else. Thanks again!!:)
  3. DH and I have been on a cruise before, but this is our first Disney and first for our kids DD 10 and DS 7. We want to make the most of it and are having trouble figuring out excursions - mixed feelings about Nassau in particular. I have read some reports saying don't even get off the ship. My DD is interested in the dolphin encounter, but it does not seem the best value for older kids. Is it a good one, or is there a better alternative? What about glass bottom boats? Are we better off staying on board? She also wants to get her hair braided. Is this a nightmare waiting to happen? Castaway Cay sounds wonderful, so I actually have too many things on the list of possibilities. What were some favorites? How are the paddle boats/trikes? What about the glass bottom boat tour here? Stingrays? I'd love any advice! Thanks!
